Pro tip: you know all those little moments that you want photographs of on your big day? Your grandma doing up your dress. Giving your flower girl her flowers. Handing your new mother-in-law a gift.

Make sure that your photographer has a list of those AND that you put times for those photos on your wedding day schedule. Don’t just assume they’ll happen organically! It’s going to be a wild and action packed day- don’t let those moments get lost.

Unpopular opinion: the ceremony is the most important part of your wedding day.

Take the time to find and work with a wedding officiant you like and trust- they can help you craft a ceremony that really feels right for you and your future spouse. There’s no need for it to be fussy and boring!

This is the legal ceremony (and maybe even the religious/spiritual ceremony) that is going to permanently bind you to another human being. It matters!
