Yoooooo remember when the Pandemi really shook us all to the right core out of nowheres and, even though I still had the supreme gift of doing the work I love somewhat regularly, I snatched up the opportunity to take a two year mega break from posting on the gram, save a few pretty little stories?! Some win, some lose. Some never are allowed the right to choose. We’re bruised, our path confused, this wild ruse of the past 4 years no sunshine cruise. I hope the reds and blues can embrace the truth, can look outside the voting booth, can offer kindness, step into each other’s shoes. Can do away with all this “fake news”. Our new America is not for the ONE but for the twos, and threes and twelves and eighty eights. Three cheers for protecting all and unlearning hate. Today my friends we celebrate. Honestly team, I have never been busier. I've never had SO many inspiring events flowing into my inbox and booking up my calendar, every moment of the day. If you haven't heard back from me yet -- I'm working on it! I am truly overwhelmed in the best way with joy, gratitude, and soulful readiness. Thank goodness for my May intern my business boss my collaborators .tester and my farm right hand and all my community at large. Let's do this.

Honored to have sponsored a wild array of floral design and large scale installations for the Forage themed gala held at this weekend. Was running on 45 minutes of sleep setting up that day, two weeks in to a month long stretch of non stop event glory. What kept me upbeat, creative, and awake (aside from the hard work of the excellent day of volunteer team) was a sense of real gratitude for all does for this community. It is a real privilege to do what I love. To stay up all night designing. To farm. To have free time at all to donate. I cherish this life, and am thankful to for working to provide opportunity for underprivileged youth to pursue their own dreams. Keep up the @ The Loft at 8th Avenue

I first met this wondrous soul when I was 10 years old. I have been lucky to visit many times since. That’s what Notre Dame has always felt like to me, a living entity. A space that breathed, whispered stories of long ago and stories of today. Where people came together of all religions, races, stations. Looking to the faces of those gathering outside or inside alike, there was a hushed shared feeling among the thrall. The cathedral was divine, and we all could feel its presence as one feels love for any revered soul, be it icon, beloved family member, cherished friend. Watching this firestorm unfold today absolutely feels like the loss of a person I’ve long celebrated and held dear. I am sending all my love to you, Paris. I will bring flowers of reverence and mourning whenever I can visit you next.
