Anyone who has worked with MB Events knows who this man is and for those of you who don’t, let me tell you about him.

As many wedding industry professionals can tell you, a supportive partner is everything. My husband Doug, is exactly that! From the very beginning, he has been there supporting me and helping every way he can. Before we got the office, when I would have calls, he was the one taking our 3 beautiful children out to play or cooking dinner. When I have an idea or dream, he’s the one making sure I follow through. He will research, take the drives with me and give his opinions. He comes to the weddings to help with set up, moving furniture, making sure the vendors have what they need, and most importantly ensuring our couples have the best day of their lives.

I couldn’t ask for a better partner to tackle this journey with! No one is more supportive or loving. Thankful for him every day 🤍

Hi, to all the new faces on here! I figured now would be a great time to re-introduce myself 😊

My name is Marissa and I am the founder, designer and lead planner of MB Events.

If you would have told me a couple years ago that one day I would be booking brides over a year out, have an amazing team of 9, and be a full time wedding planner/business owner, I would have said that’s crazy!

This has been such a life changing experience and one I have dreamt and worked so hard for. I am so grateful for every couple that has trusted me with their special day and the friendships that have come with it. I love my calls/meetings with my couples, checking in or just laughing about something completely not wedding related. I have been able to connect with the most amazing vendors in this industry and I admire them all!

I would be nothing without my MBE team because we all know it takes a village but most importantly my family. My three kids and my supportive husband (7 years married this year) are my reasoning and keep me reaching for my dreams.

Seeing the happiness on my couples faces come their wedding day is why I do this! I know I am right where I am supposed to be and I wouldn’t change a thing!

I look forward to continuing to grow MBE and can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.

Hi guys!! It’s been awhile, I have been so busy with work but back to instagram with an exciting announcement!!

MB Events and have teamed up to share with you that we have created a content day at The Barn at Bull Meadow for photographers! This is my first styled shoot and I can not wait to show you all what I have been working so hard on these past couple of months. I have teamed up with some incredibly talented vendors who are truly helping make my vision come to life!
