The color scheme for today's wedding in the redwood forest was green, brown and black. Each bouquet featured 9 types of foliage creating a feeling of being in the forest with Harry Potter.

Felton Guild wedding featured bridesmaids in green and bouquets with a variety of greens including Redwood. Flower accents were yellow, blue and white. You can see a very proud father and happy bride by the wedding arch. Bride and groom enjoyed taking a sneak peak at the reception set up.

We were so excited to create the designs for Ryan and Kailey using amazing flowers we purchased in California, packed, and shipped to Wisconsin. It is magical to make a couples dream come true when the flowers are available at the perfect time.

We were able to create designs to include all of our Bride and Groom's favorite colors on Saturday at UC Santa Cruz and the Cowell Hay Barn.

We enjoyed creating these garlands and placing ferns on the napkins for a Redwood forest themed reception while listening to the nearby waterfall at the Waterfall Lodge venue. The cake was made by another vendor, and a fun design for the theme.

This week we had a Monday wedding. The couple had the location cancel their wedding on Saturday. We believe from the flood warning for Monday with the venue by a river. The bride was able to find a hotel to accommodate in less than 48 hours so the wedding could be the same day and time.

We were so happy for the bride and groom to have the wedding they planned three different years from Covid restrictions. They were wonderful through it all. We had the opportunity to create floral designs and the wooden frames for the centerpieces. It is great to have a woodworker on staff.

October was the perfect month for this wedding to be held. The bride loves orange and the orange rose varieties work together nicely. A tight white strawflower bud brings a hint of off white to add dimension and blend it with her gown.

It was wonderful to deliver flowers again at the Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa after the shut down for events. This bride had challenges planning a socially distanced wedding, but her wonderful sense of humor carried her through to an amazing day.
