Growing up I always wanted to decorate, organize, clean, cook, and make anything I could, but more importantly make others happy & laugh.
I was ALWAYS rearranging my room, creating a space that was all mine; a sanctuary, a place to be inspired and feel like my true self in a world where I didn’t always “see” how I belonged.
26+ years later, I started this business.
I started Willow & Tala, and for the first time, I felt so at peace.
I felt like I had built this space & home one brick at a time, & every day was bringing me closer to all of you.
My name is Austyn-Taylor, yes that’s my full first name.
I’ve been working in the service & events industry since I was 14 years old. I started as a character at magic mountain. 🤟😂 Progressed into catering, assisted a local florist, worked at a nail salon, and ended up as a receptionist at a film school…
Had my first daughter in 2015 & knew I was never going back to work.
Got engaged in 2016, married in 2017 & my first event was in March of 2018… I was hooked.
I have now been in business for 6 years, married for 8, and had 2 more beautiful tiny humans in 2019 & 2021.
Some Facts you may not have known about me!
- I have 4 brothers & 4 sisters
- I wanted to be a Nurse & voiceover actor & chef
- I am a special needs mama, my son is 4, has Autism & is non verbal & the coolest guy around.
-I named Willow & Tala is after Disney + My Grandma 😂
-I was a signed makeup and hair Model when I was 19
-I love to sketch & sing and never share it
-I play computer games & make lego sets with my 8 yr old
-I make traveling tiny doll houses and furniture
-I am currently learning ASL
-I am terrified of spiders
-I absolutely love running & going to concerts
-I have been with my husband for 13 years & his name is Ryan.
-I am a Dog mom of two (10 year old) Australian shepherds. Molly & Meadow.
-I want a PS switch for Christmas. 😂 if you made it this far
-I taught myself balloons in 2020, and now I help others learn!
