Would you believe me if I told you this was a wedding from 2018? Sheilan and Levirt didn’t know they were going to be ahead of the trend 😉 They had a backyard brunch wedding with their close family and friends and also were able to incorporate the neighborhood redwoods by sneaking away for a few portraits.

As wedding plans are adjusting this Fall and into 2021, know however you plan your day, it will be just as special (and maybe even more!). Your wedding vendors are rooting for you and totally feel for you — this isn’t easy. Happy Anniversary Catie+Michael! Their Fort Bragg adventure elopement was so cool!! They had found their ceremony spot while hiking in the area and they wanted to make sure their dogs could be involved, so their spot was perfect! Also, Catie's bouquet was made from feathers and an antler found while hiking because they had their big reception a week later and she wanted her bouquet to last. And I took some of my favorite ring shots ever!!

I was shooting my friends maternity photos last night at Land's End and this guy walked by asking if they're getting married, since it looks like we could be taking engagement photos. We respond with a "no, haha" and he mentioned that the couple just up the way from us just got engaged! The guy has JUST proposed!!

I couldn't resist asking Madelyn and Max if they'd be okay with me going and taking a few photos for the couple and they were okay with it! :) (thank you thank you!)

I've heard of photographers being in the right place at the right time and it finally happened to me, hehe! I just emailed them their photos and it brings me back to my engagement and how freaking exciting it is!!

Also if you're proposing, hire a photographer to capture the moments because it's bound to be one of the most exciting moments of your lives and having those photos to look back on and relive the moment is very special

This isn't the prettiest photo, but freelancing isn't always amazing photoshoots! It's meetings in the city, finding cafes with wifi, getting dressed+out of the house, lots of late nights because there are no real "closed" hours to your business, and the list goes on. BUT, I can also adventure when my schedule allows, I am my own boss, and the freedom to do all that is more fulfilling that clocking in and out of a typical job.

I've been posting on my Instagram story (instagram.com/chelseadier), but I want to incorporate them into my feed as well, so here's today's! Working from the library because I don't feel like coffee, I have some time before my next meeting, and I need to charge my phone 😬

Hi friends! My new website LAUNCHED today!! The amazing Forth and Wild exceeded all my expectations and absolutely crushed it 😍 I couldn't be more proud of my little space on the interwebz. Adventure trip photography with Trail Mavens!

It had rained a bunch before our trip so much of the snow had melted, but we got a little bit of snowshoeing in! Weekend spent sleeping on the snow, sledding, playing "salad bowl" and hanging in a little cabin with wonderful ladies.
