The Gretna Mainstreet New Music Theatre Festival

Part of the national festival circuit through Mainstreet Musicals in New York City, the Gretna Mainstreet New Music Theatre Festival is an annual event produced by NOLA Voice Theatre to benefit the Gretna Cultural Center. The Festival produces three new works for music theatre each year as staged concerts with minimal sets, costumes, and props, along with a live band. Three shows over a two-day period!

NOLA Voice Theatre is the only theatre troupe in the City dedicated to the art, creation, preservation, and performance of original works for the voice and radio theatre stages, as well as the family musical stage. NVT is dedicated to enriching the New Orleans theatre community by providing all of our productions to our new local nonprofit theatres as fundraisers. We are proud that all our productions are presented under the auspices of Actors’ Equity Association’s Members’ Project Code.
