A lot of people compare a Cat Show to the Westminster Dog Show, both are beauty contests where the Cats & Dogs are each judged against a written breed standard. Some of you may be picturing a Cat Show below, the ACCC show is much better organized.
THE ANCIENT CITY CAT SHOW
An Invitation for all to attend our 8th Annual Cat Show
A Cat Show is like a Beauty Contest where the cats are judged on how they conform to the Breed Standard.
The Annual Allbreed Cat and Household Pets Cat Show will be held on Saturday & Sunday, February 24th & 25th, 2024 at the Solomon Calhoun Community Center, 1300 Duval St., St. Augustine, 32084 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm each day. The Community Center is just past Osceola Elementary School off of SR 207 in St. Augustine.
Come see over 150 cats and kittens judged 6 times each day, with cat vendors, local animal rescue Feline Canopy of Care in attendance with adoptable cats and kittens and a food truck will be on site each day for breakfast and lunch.
This year we will have pure bred Oriental Shorthairs, Russian Blues, Bengals, Abyssinians, Ragdolls, Maine C***s, Selkirk Rex’s, Exotic Shorthairs, Persians, and many other breeds from all over the country.
A fun day for the whole family. Come out and root for your favorite cat!
Admission is $ 5.00, with Seniors, college students and Juniors $ 3.00.
