The countdown is on for Merge's arrival in Toronto on April 20th (4:20) at Stone Lounge! Join us for an unforgettable night featuring our trailblazing resident DJ Amita, spinning the latest in R&B, Reggae, Bhangra, and more. Get ready for a unique experience as we bring together two generations of DJs — DJ Amita and DJ Tangerine — for one spirited night. Here's a sneak peek into Amita's background: in one spirited night. With over 15 years of experience as a Club DJ and promoter, Amita's talent has graced prestigious events such as Luminato, the Pan Am Games, and the opening of TIFF's Bell Lightbox theatre. She's a fixture at PRIDE's Central stage and has been spinning at notable venues including Fly nightclub, The Courthouse, and Revival Club on College Street. Known as the main DJ behind Besharam, a legendary South Asian party that spanned 16 years, Amita has showcased her versatile skills in Bollywood, Top 40s, R&B, Reggae, Afrobeat, Soca, and club hits across mainstream clubs.
