Currently, in this season you'll find me snuggling my sweet new baby girl these days, enjoying QT alongside my hubs, Reid, and my lil guy Hayes. And although I enjoy frequent change, I'm working to embrace taking the times as they come and to value things as they are.

(and after 9 months without - it’s about dang time!) We had so much fun playing up the day-of signage and paper goods with and for Rana and Evan’s wedding weekend. The heron cocktail sign - a nod to the commonly seen bird in Kiawah - now lives on their bar cart. We’re always considering ways you can incorporate details from your wedding design into your home design!

Dining by candlelight...
..until a wild storm surge rolls through 3/4 of the way through dinner and the venue requires a mandatory tent evacuation. Our team took the reins, transitioned guests inside, and had the band, bar, and cake reset in under 20 minutes to keep the party rolling. Having an *experienced* planner is paramount to the success of your event. Things you cannot see, expect, or have any insight into. It's those details that go unnoticed that truly make all the difference.

Join us WIPA North Carolina at the Cadillac Service Garage on August 9th for networking, mingling & an amazing educational program. Timeline is as follows-
✨ 2pm – Cocktail Hour
Mingling, heavy hors d’oeuvres and libations with member only headshots
✨ 3:15pm – Program
Guest speaker Fallon Carter of Fallon Carter Events (named top planner in the world by Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and BRIDES magazine).
✨ 4pm – Mingling and Sweets
Perfect way to end the afternoon
✨ 5:30pm – Private Dinner
An intimate members only add-on dining experience with Fallon Carter. (Tickets for the dinner are $125 and extremely limited)

1. Plan ahead: Surprise elements in a wedding reception require careful wedding planning and coordination. Working together with the creative team, we ensure that everything is set up and executed flawlessly. We communicate the vision and expectations clearly to avoid any confusion or mishaps.

☀️⛺️🏀 A sun-splashed, camp-inspired, 50 tent glamping weekend for Lauren & Emily's private estate wedding. When the brides' came to Lion House, we gladly accepted the challenge to:
• transform a full sized basketball court - scoreboard, goals, and all into their reception
• coordinate onsite glamping for 50+ guests
• arrange a weekend's worth of favorite food trucks
• ensure there were places for onsite showers/bathrooms
• bring their love of west coast sunsets to the east coast
• and more. Stay tuned for a glimpse into the wedding design!
Lauren & Emily told us that to this day they continuously get messages from their guests with how absolutely incredible the entire wedding weekend experience was. And that's just the way we like it here at Lion House!!
