Starter
Veg Cutlets
Spicy sweet potatoes mixed potatoes spices, ginger, garlic and onion curry leaves and tomatoes with a dash of lemon made into patties and covered in bread crumbs and deep fried.

Juicy chunks of mango slow cooked in mild spices, vinegar, ginger, garlic and onions and juggery to bring an authentic

Basmati rice cooked in fragrant spices lemon grass and turmeric
Batu Moju
Aubergines fried with chili, spices, cinnamon, cardamom , pandan leaves and onions, chopped garlic and topped with dates.
Special Kukul Mus cooked in the Oven
Chicken marinated overnight with ginger, garlic, onions, curry and pandan leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, spices, chili and heaps of lemon mixed in yogurt and cooked in the oven until tender and full of flavour.

Red Lentils cooked with garlic, onion, curry and pandan leaves, cumin in thick coconut milk and tempered with black mustard seeds
Annasi beetroot salad
Pineapple, beetroot and onions salad drizzled with a lemon, vinegar,mustard and sugar dressing

Thank you so much The Star in Narberth, Donna and Mike for having me for their first year celebration.
SOLD OUT within two hours! It was such a great evening and wonderful to see the place so busy. Amazing.
I was transported to the streets of Sri Lanka with the vibe and smells of Kottu and Hoppers.
THANK YOU to all who came and had the food. I hope you enjoyed it.
Huge thanks to Sandra and Fin's for their brilliant work in making the event a success.
It was so busy we didn't even get a chance to take any photos.

Join us at The Star in Narberth for a tasty Sri Lankan Street food combo on Saturday 7th June, 6pm onwards, for their 1st year Anniversary Celebration.

£16 per head includes

Hopper made with rice flour and creamy coconut milk - thin, bowl-shaped pancakes named for the pan that gives them their form. These crispy basins can be filled with delish curry!

Kottu Roti translates from Sinhalese as chopped. This street food consists of chopped up roti (a type of flatbread), stir-fried with vegetables and egg.

Kiri Buth -Sticky Milk Rice made with Basmati rice and coconut milk

Together with Chicken or Vegetable curry, Lentil Curry and Seeni Sambol (caramelised onions with spices.)
