It's school time and you know what that means?!?!

Another year of senior sessions and some school sports keepsakes!!

Last year I was SOOOOO BLESSED to have been asked to take the sports team keepsakes, for the yearbook, at one of our local private schools. It was SUCH an AMAZING opportunity for me!!! I LOVED IT!!

I learned A LOT and still continue to learn in this ever growing industry 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I was SOOOOO honored that they asked me to capture the sports team keepsakes again this year 🥹🥹🥹🥹 HAPPY TEARS I TELL YA!!! HAPPY TEARS!!

I’m working on a photography project.

I don’t have all the details at all. What I have is an idea. I am going to be planning it and would like to do it sometime in July.

I am holding a model call for moms and women (need about 10 total). I need all different shapes and sizes. Submit a request to be considered via DM.

Again I don’t have all the particulars just an idea. As soon as I have all my ducks in the row I will create a group chat with all the moms that have been selected to divulge my idea and when the shoot will take place ☺️☺️🙌🏻🙌🏻

I’ve been taking this down time in photography to take classes and getting the creative bug going!!

I have to admit as a kid I LOVED playing in the rain. When it wasn't thunder and lightning of course, which living in the lightning capital of the world you kind of try NOT to be out there when God is playing bowling!

BUT as an adult and now a momma I find myself saying "don't jump in that puddle!" more often times than not. Which got me to thinking about something I once read about as adults we STOP our kids imagination and curiosity from growing when we tell them to stop doing things like jumping in a puddle after a rain storm.

This got me thinking a WHOLE LOT MORE about another quote 👆🏼👆🏼the one right at the top. “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… It’s about learning to dance in the rain.” What if for one minute or even an hour (however long it takes your kiddos to get tired from playing in the rain) that we let them learn to DANCE in the rain! Let them explore their curiosity of how big of a splash will that make if I jump in that puddle? If we allow them just ONE MORE science experience to take place in the kitchen or bathroom sink.

Will this help them to learn to HIDE from life's storms or FIND new ways to get through it?!??!

This definitely tugged at this mommas heart strings! SOOOOO, all you mommas that are cringing as I post this lets remember our childhood for just one minute, grab the extra towels, rain🌧️ boots🥾,☔️, put our anxiety of how dirty they are going to get into a box, and let them just run and have fun. Trust me when I tell you my mind is going 80 miles an hour thinking about ALL THE DIRT, WATER, BUGS, etc that gives me the 👀👀. BUT they had fun!

WE have to let them start seeing the rainbows 🌈 after the storm!

This momma is EXCITED to be able to SLEEP IN!!!! Well not actually 🤣🤣. I will still need to keep my workout routine going HOWEVER!!!! I WILL be able to go BACK TO SLEEP once I get home from the gym and showered🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

It's that time of year!!! PROM SEASON 💃🏻🕺🏼

Prom was such a fun event! Fun fact, I wore my Prom dress to both my Junior and Senior prom 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️. I actually still have it 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

In my defense no one I knew was at my Junior prom. My date was my brother's best friend (He was like my brother/best friend as well) and he was SOOOOO SICK 😭😭. Poor guy had a fever and was so worried about missing school (if you missed school that Friday you were NOT allowed to go to Prom). He stuck it out the whole day and was such a trooper!!! He was seriously the best ever!

Still in disbelief that this young lady is a junior and will be a senior next year 😭😭😩😩!!!

Little back story her momma, daddy, and I met 20 years ago when we were all working at Cody's Original Roadhouse. It's hard to believe it's been that long.

I remember when she was born and when she was at my wedding 12 years ago. She is one amazing chick & was so honored when they asked me if I would take their photos for Prom!

Hi!! I wanted to stop by and introduce myself again!

My name is Jenda and I am the person behind the camera here at Jenda Nichole Photography. I am a wife to a pretty awesome hubby (I'm pretty bias on this lol) and a momma to two pretty dang amazing kiddos.

🫶🏼Just a few things about me🫶🏼:
❤ I LOVE Jesus however at times I have a sailors mouth of which I am currently working on (listen I grew up and have worked in restaurants up until about 10 years ago 🤣🤣 IYKYK)
❤ I LOVE to capture memories and turn them into keepsakes that all my clients will be able to cherish for a lifetime.
❤ I LOVE to bake & cook!! so much that I actually have that as another business hahaha
❤ I wear my heart on my sleeve and my face likes to talk with out letting my brain know what it is saying 🤣🤣

❤ I've got a Bachelors Degree in Economics from University of South Florida

We have had a pretty busy day around here.

Our kiddos' school is putting on their annual holiday shoppe and we have been volunteering there. This is seriously one of my favorite volunteer shifts at the school. I love seeing these kiddos eyes light up of all the possible items to purchase for their family. They come in with their little list and are so diligent & thoughtful in picking each gift for their family members.

Our school has been pretty creative the last two years and had a fewer more items of things that I would like for Christmas. Momma can only have so many #1 mom cups 🤣🤣

I am thankful for the opportunities to those who trust me to capture their family's keepsakes that will last a lifetime.

To the ones who hear my crazy ideas and are like "okay let's do this!", those who appreciate me, my time, my craft, my style. I am FOREVER GRATEFUL to those who gave me a shot and have FULL FAITH IN ME even when I second guess myself.

And this chick right here is my FOREVER hype girl! She goes to sessions with me and watches what I do. Helps me get the kiddos to laugh and is just there to spend time with her momma! She's a pretty good photographer as well!! Her eye is something I wish I had! She can see things in a whole other light and it just makes my heart so full!

Tell me your mom/titi owns her own photography business without telling me! 🤣

These three LOVE to give me a run for my money when I am doing photos. The amount of sass that they give to get ONE great photo 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. I have to bribe them with ice cream, scary talking through my teeth, promise to go watch the cows when I am done having them be my tester of lighting, etc.

BUT to tell you the truth I love them more than I can put into words.

Whelp! It's November 8, and we are heading in for another hurricane. The meteorologist just said he went all the way back to the 1800's and said he couldn't find a hurricane that was so late into the season (season ends on November 30th)

SOOO we will be over here tracking and preparing as needed.

Please pray for our East cost friends as well as all of our friends who are still recovering from Ian four weeks ago that might get more flooding

Today I head out to Orlando to do my first 5k. Now before anyone thinks that I'm actually running I will have to let you know it's going to be a quick walk 🤣🤣. I'm going to try my hand in this whole olympic speed walking thing 🤣🤣
