Hey folks, Walt(left) here👋🏻 giving you guys a little introduction to the family and some insights behind Copper Spur BBQ.
Founded on hard work, attention to detail, and consistency that is seldomly replicated in this industry, Jerry and Karen Fountain (my parents) have created a small family owned business that has lasted in the Central Valley for over 35 years. And to grow it solely off word of mouth, the reputation they have set forth speaks for itself.
As they are still involved, I myself carry the torch. Being raised in this business has allowed me to have a firm understanding of what it takes to ensure that the quality of everything Copper Spur has to offer is up to standard. I have devoted myself to carrying on the tradition my parents have set before me.
Although pursuing a career as a firefighter after his stellar football career, you can still find my “little” brother Garret(right) working hard on the grill in his free time. Always be sure to give him a hard time if you see him at your next catered event.
‼️2025 is already shaping up to be one of our busiest yet. Be sure to get on our books far out in advance to ensure we can fulfill your catering needs. As well as follow along with our social media as we may be announcing some deals as graduation parties start to approach👀
