What a blessed weekend!

I was SO BLESSED to deliver cookie orders and be a vendor at the Roses Giving Back Christmas Extravaganza with Confections By Lucero yesterday!

Thank you Jesus, Alisha Mino and Rose for this wonderful opportunity❤️🫶

Just thankful to God for allowing me to use my passion for baking and bringing smiles to peoples faces 🙏

In light of the tragic weather our country is experiencing...I was getting home tonight thinking about it, praying for everyone's safety just me and Holy Spirit as I was driving.

He then reminded me of...Peace. Be Still. And the the storm ceased.

Whether we are talking about the hurricanes or a storm in your life...we have the same Authority, because we have the same Spirit as Jesus to command the storm to stop.

Lets raise our faith.

Leta raise our voices.

Because it's not by might or by power or wiful thinking but by HIS SPIRIT do we say these things.

The Holy Spirit reminded me to worship.

War-Ship.

This is war yall, between the darkness and His Light. We decide where we allow our headspace to go.

I was blessed to celebrate my birthday while celebrating the miracles God has done in my life this past weekend at a Tea Themed gathering at The Beatitudes Tea Room 🥰

I was so so blessed to celebrate with other incredible women of Faith aka my amazing friends!

Guess who made her cake and cupcakes?

I made a simple vanilla cake, with pink cake layers, and a lace design, topped with a crown ( We are daughters of King Jesus), and roses, and a gold ribbon.

Someone actually said it was the best cake they had ever had...that warmed my heart.

I made it with love!

P.S I felt so beautiful after Darchele did my hair at OOPY Hair Studio and my friend Meesha adorned me with her beautiful pearl jewelry at Meesha DeArmond Jewelry ...I am so blessed...surrounded by incredible women of faith that I get to call friends who have stepped out to offer the world their talent 🥰

September 25th.

8:34am.

I wasn't supposed to be born till late January of the following year.

That is 4 months early...heart attack..undeveloped lungs..less then 2 lb.. 42 days in the NICU.

I am here today... whole, happy, healthy.

All Glory to God🥰🙏🙌

When I celebrate my birthday I celebrate my Father, My Savior, my King❤️

I also celebrate my parent's unrelenting faith that I would live despite the circumstances.

That is why we are gathering at our Rejoicing Rebirth Gathering at Faith Sisters United this weekend. To celebrate life...like abundantly...

The Renewing Power of God.

The Resurrection Power of God.

Good afternoon yall 🙂

I made these gluten free and dairy free blueberry pancakes and they are so GOOD so I wanted to share with yall 🥰

This recipie came from the Everything Gluten and Dairy Free Cookbook by Audrey Robert's.

I've found some super yummy recipies in here and have so many more to go.

I gave this pancake recipie a Confections By Lucero makeover lol.

These are great to freeze as well, just wrap tightly individually or 2 max with foil, place in zip lock baggie or other freezable atorage container.

Confections by Lucero Recipie Makeover Tips:

1. Personally, I ONLY use Cup 4 Cup Gluten Free Flour. I find it has the best texture out of all the ones I have tried because you literally can't even tell these are Gluten free, so I highly recommend it🙂. I used to find it at Target but lately I went to my local one and they did not have it, Walmart now carries it!

2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract , I like McCormick Spice brand

OR add 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

3. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar

4. Add 1 cup of fresh blueberries ( at the end)

5. I would mix all wet ingredients together, please make sure they are room temperature I would also mix all dry ingredients together , then combine wet and dry ingredients

* NOTE: Your batter will thicken up quickly and this is normal, I use use it within 2 hours, I haven't tried to freeze the batter for later use

I hope this helps and inspires someone to try this recipie!
