Our story

It seems obvious now, but when I was younger It never occurred to me that the reason my Grandfather was in so few family photos, was not because he was camera-shy or absent, but simply because he was the one taking the photos. These photos captured my family’s lifestyle from days at the beach, to simple Saturday afternoons playing in the back garden. They weren’t taken by a professional photographer or of a remarkable subject, but there was something about these photos that made them great, they were genuine, and real, and captured family life beautifully. A photo studio is so unfamiliar to people that to us, it is impossible to capture family life within its environment. The dark interiors, clinical white backgrounds, and constant flashing is, without doubt, an unpleasant experience for anyone. Little Picture Life, was started to capture family moments as they unfold naturally. Our approach to family photography is a more organic one, we believe you are only able to capture high-quality photography if you can put the family at ease. We take our skills and vision and create family photography within the environments you feel most comfortable in. We base our photography around your family’s lifestyle whether that’s relaxing in the back garden, a day at the beach, or a picnic in the woods. We look at capturing your family life in a more genuine and enjoyable way, moving beyond ridged poses and fake smiles and delivering you photography that is real, eye-catching and beautiful.
