Dennis Caressa was born and raised in Brussels. He's a proud Brussels boy with the "no f***s given"- attitude, but with the heart in the right place.

He has some physical restrictions because of his wheelchair, but says: ''It’s actually a gift because walking is exhausting & not so special anymore”.

This doesn't hold him down to follow his passion & vision in the magical world of electronic music.

Caressa came in touch with electronic music early in his life, listening to old school acid house, new beat & retro. Having his first vinyl player on the age of 6, it was crystal clear that this is what he wanted to do. As a teenager he went to local underground techno parties and got infected with the tribal & detroit techno sounds. After a while he came across techno legend Sven Väth & when saw him perform for the first time, Caressa knew he wanted to find his own sound and create that special vibe like Mr. Väth does.

Caressa subcribed himself for the Benelux pioneer dj-contest of the legendary HAPPY evening on new year’s eve & got himself a spot on the line-up for their new concept BOA Summer sessions. The jury said he had a great mixture of pumping techno sounds that worked for them + they never, ever saw a guy in a wheelchair doing backspins & use the FX like he did.

So Caressa got himself on the line-up next to the other legend T.Raumschmiere, which led to another booking on kissinger parties.

On the kissinger parties he was booked as the opener in a room where they usually played 80's to 90's house & he didn't know how start up the party, so he started with tech house, it turned out with a full room & in the end everybody went mental on his pumping techno.

After that experience Caressa subscribed himself for the dj-contest FREE VI.BES of the legendary Cafe d'Anvers club in Antwerp & got himself a spot on the line-up as an opener for DJ Prinz.

This experience got him in touch with Cafe d'Anvers owners & workers, this led to being seen there very often to join the party & learn how the big artists work, this also led him to meet his idol Mr. Sven Väth.

In the meanwhile he also organized his own parties at the local youth club bringing minimal & underground techno with the best national artists to the future youth.

These parties always got good feedback from the playing artists, because they had that Berlin underground feeling every single night.

Caressa is now more and more producing his own music & brings the emotion he feels from his everyday-life experience.

You can describe Caressa's music as dark energetical pumping & sometimes very trancy styled techno.
