Going into the bye week for the Belgian American Football League - BAFL junior competition the Izegem Tribes Youth Academy have secured the first spot in the standings and are certain they will host a semi-final game. The last week of the season will define the remaining playoff spots.

I am very happy that we can announce together with the BAFL that we are intensifying our partnership as federations to make Football bigger and better in the Lowlands.

One of the first results is that the BNL Football League will be an official competition under the umbrella of national federations. I want to thank the people involved with the BNL for all their time and energy to make this a success and take the next step with us.

Growth, exposure and raising the level of Football will be our common goals and I am excited for the future! More great things to come! – Johan Oosterhuis for AFBN, Roald Piqueur for BAFL.
