Children love having their faces painted, but so do teens and adults. I offer face painting in HRM and throughout Nova Scotia. I have options available for birthday parties, public or corporate events, and can even do individual sessions for those awesome Halloween or Mardi Gras costumes!

I'm really looking forward to the South Shore Exhibition! I will be face painting on Wednesday and Saturday this year. I'm usually inside the main entrance, or between the small barns and the beer barn. I've got some fun new colours and designs this year, along with the best of the old favourites! If you're heading to the Big Ex, keep an eye out for me!

Well, life and I did not get along this Canada Day weekend. 😕 The brakes on my car seized, and because of the long weekend, the parts weren't available until Tuesday. I also had no alternate transportation (leave it to me to have problems when everyone is away for the holidays). Because of this, I had to back out of an event for the first time ever. It was an awful experience that I hope to never repeat. I would like to apologize to the wonderful planning crew in Lunenburg who had arranged this a year in advance. I am so sorry to anyone who was looking forward to having their face painted on Canada Day. Hopefully I will have the chance to make it up to everyone at the next event. 🎨

Well, here I sit with one new knee and a lot of free time, so I'm sorting out my supplies and getting ready for the summer. I have lots of events booked already, so I guess I'll be putting that new knee to use!

My first public event will be on Canada Day. I'll be in Lunenburg at the Fisheries Museum, so if you're in Lunenburg that day, be sure to stop by for a visit and a fun design (or even just a little festival glitter).

Well, I definitely didn't expect to see snow already! I guess Mother Nature is just setting the mood for Christmas in the Country. I'm looking forward to painting lots of new faces, see you Saturday! 😀

It's been a busy year so far. Between work, face paint bookings, and keeping my supplies and tools in order, I keep forgetting to post. Oops! 🙃
I've spent a relaxing evening watching videos and painting new samples for my idea book. I'm looking forward to starting September off right with the Michelin Family Picnic on the 4th, and the LCLC Family Day on the 10th. Hoping to paint lots of familiar faces and lots of new ones too!

I spent a beautiful sunny morning organizing my face paint case... and accidentally spilling my glitter! I can't really complain though, it's super pretty in the sunshine!

I'm also ironing out the details for my new on-site brush care routine. It's funny how the pandemic has changed the way we view things. Looking back at what was just the standard face painting routine that everyone followed, I am struck by what now seem to be glaringly bad practices. My new cleaning process is going to help keep everyone safe. It will take some time to adjust to the changes, and my speed might suffer a bit until it becomes more routine, but I really feel that it will make the whole experience better for everyone.

From now on, brushes will be used for one person, and then go through a three-step sterilizing process before being used again. I'm starting to stock up on brushes, since this will require me to have multiple sets. I'm also stocking up on double-layer masks and hand sanitizer. I can't wait to get back to doing the thing that I love... painting happy little faces and seeing those beautiful smiles!

Our Story

I offer face painting for public events, private parties, and group sessions (great for those awesome Halloween or Mardi Gras costumes)! I have over 12 years experience with face painting and use only the best quality face paints and equipment. I was originally located on the South Shore, but have recently relocated in Dartmouth. I have no problem travelling to events all over the province (I think I enjoy my work a bit too much). :)
