Only a week away before we head to Back to our Roots Car Show & Community Event. This event was started out of a love for our roots and the people and things that make us who we are, and we come together to celebrate that. We have a really fun weekend planned for the whole family!

Friday July 26th 6:00pm - 9:00pm Praise & Worship
6:00pm - 7:00pm Introduction and Worship
7:00pm - 8:00pm Living Testimony
8:00pm - 9:00pm Baptism in the river

Saturday July 27th 10:00am - 7:00pm
Car Show 8:00am -10:00am registration $25.00 Show begins 10:00am - 5:00pm, and The Decades will be playing.
5:00pm - 7:00pm Cruise A Street, shop vendors and cool down with a cold one.

Sunday July 28th 12:00pm - 7:00pm

Calling all vendors for our 3rd annual Back to our Roots Car Show & Community Event coming together to celebrate the people and things that make us who we are.
During our event vendors are expected to be open July 27 from 10:00am-6:00pm and July 28 from 12:00pm -8pm. Vendor spots start at $75.00 for artisan and $200.00 for food carts. Insurance is required. We have one food cart spot left.

We have a Praise & Worship night coming up in our Back to our Roots community event happening in Rainier, Oregon’s beautiful city park July 26th. This is a time for us to come together and be in community with one another sharing our love for Christ.
For anyone that follows our events we are a family that lets our faith lead the way!
When I first heard god, I thought this was a crazy idea we’ve never done an event like that. As the days continued I was constantly reminded about how much faith I first had as we pushed out our first ever Christmas parade back in 2020, this year turning 5 it is now a loved family tradition. Learning from that, I now know that there’s an amazing amount of growth that happens when you walk into the unknown saying god I trust you! I think when we are sometimes most uncomfortable we’re actually growing the most, I’m greatful that my eyes are now open to recognize these things.
We recently had the opportunity to go to an event called unite in prayer hosted in Rainier, Oregon the focus during that event was living water. Now for us Jesus people, living water is everything that flows in and out of us, it’s nourishes us and substains us, just like faith and hope.
My daughter and I arrived early to this event and decided to go walk the park and down on the river. I had been praying about our praise & worship night and asking for direction and then I hear one word “baptism” immediately following I thought “your crazy, I can’t do that” and then the days to follow I was at my families home church branches, talking to my pastors wife and telling her about the previous days and bless her heart, she was my rock, offered me words of encouragement, and because of that conversation and her open arms we will be offering baptism in the river at our event.

I’m forever grateful for my sisters and brothers in Christ that keep me rooted, life without them doesn’t make sense.

Some highlights from our parades weekend. We appreciate everyone that came out and supported this tradition. We collected a lot of food for the Columbia Pacific Food Bank and that helps a ton. We are blessed to live in communities where we come together and love one another however we can. Thank you to our sponsors who keep on showing up in ways that truly make a difference!

Such a fun community event.

Come ride along on a flatbed float all decked out for Christmas. We will sing Christmas carols along the way and throw candy to the crowds on the street as we participate in the ST. HELENS Christmas Parade. Santa is going to be riding on our float, so bring the kids.

Everyone always gives me credit for our wonderful parades. I just wanted to share that because of my faith and following god is the real reason were here. Back in 2020 knowing a few of us could make a big difference. It was god’s voice that made me move on the simple idea of making a difference in a community that had lost hope. Our very first parade was planned, promoted, and built in just a few weeks. In communities that have always stood strong on helping one another the community came together. I felt like everywhere we turned there were people smiling during our routes. Such a great feeling being able to make a change in people’s hearts.
In the past four years my faith has only brought me closer to god and learning to follow his lead and move when he says so, even if what I’m hearing seems out of reach.
My family’s home church is Branches Church in Scappoose and let me tell you it’s the best place for me. Our Pastor Timmy Rotter is amazing. I like someone that speaks real and doesn’t sugar coat it, and that he delivers on. He gives real life testimony that we can relate too and that is needed sometimes. I look up to him a lot and I find strength there.
If you happen to be looking for a church to call home, come check out Branches Services on Sunday’s at 9:00am or 10:30am. It’s a place we can bring our friends too.
