We will have a seamstress on hand all 4 days of the sale and we are working on having other vendors here as well! DO NOT MISS THIS EVENT! I’m my hand I hold your memories…The last time your extended family was all together. I hold the time that your baby took more than one step with your overjoyed faces cheering her on. I hold your grandmothers smiles at a family event unbeknownst to anyone else how absolutely priceless that image would turn out to be just 11 days later. I hold that police officers belly laughs with his friends, being best man at the friends wedding not knowing that too soon I would also be photographing his horse drawn funeral precession. I have your 13 year old dogs last great photos before you notice him not feeling well. I hold your first dance with your Dad that will make you bawl your eyes out and also make your heart burst wide open with so much joy being able to relive that moment. I could go on and on. These are literal events that I have captured for YOU. And don’t even get me started on my own family moments…..These are IMPORTANT memories in your lives. I don’t take that lightly. I don’t just click a button. I am invested in my clients lives. I have your images on external hard drives and they are locked up in water proof, fireproof safes. Your memories are important to me too. I am no longer offering lots of digital files that will just get lost amongst the rest of your digital clutter. I am offering your YOUR memories, YOUR family, YOUR life in print to proudly display in your homes. The only photos you will regret are those you don’t take.

We have had so many events going on here lately that I wanted to post a little reminder of what we offer as a venue. We do offer availability for smaller events such as family reunions, bridal and baby showers, b day parties etc... but we built this place with 😍weddings in mind. Here is just a small bit of information about us. I'd love to help plan your event at our location!

Built in 1857, the home on this property has stood as a timeless witness to generations of families, each one leaving behind memories of hard work, love, and perseverance. In August 2013, the Hughes family took ownership of this historic treasure with a unique vision: to create a place where couples could exchange vows and begin their own “happily ever after.”

Through our dedication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn, we’ve poured our hearts into restoring this property ourselves, gaining invaluable lessons in construction, business, and God’s grace. Alongside our family—followers of Christ, loved ones, and dear friends—we’ve transformed this place into something special.

The property also features three other buildings: a quaint cabin, a rustic barn full of charm, and a newly built open pole barn, crafted by the men in our family and adorned with stunning stained glass windows created by our parents. During your first dance, the sunset will pour through these windows, creating many unforgettable moments. The house also offers a serene bridal suite for the bridal party and immediate family to prepare for the day’s events.

Picture this: a bride and groom standing together, exchanging vows on the steps of an altar, surrounded by family and friends seated on handcrafted wooden benches. The celebration continues under the enchanting glow of a 50x60 pole barn, lit by chandeliers, twinkling white lights, and rustic mason jar lanterns. Many couples have chosen to hold their ceremony inside the barn for its intimate ambiance, but should the weather be uncooperative, it will also provide shelter for the ceremony.
