A few weeks back there was a nice little Family Reunion of sorts for the crew of kids I used to do events with (and attended high school with) back in the mid->late 90s. Apollo's Lute
It was up at a very special and sacred site up on Mt Hood
I was blessed with an opportunity to share some delightful music in the morning. I brought an extra device to record the set with and this is the result of that recording. (link in the comments)
Now. There is a little asterisk about this recording.
There were two songs on here that I'm not allowed to share. They're special live versions of some favorites and they're not to be distributed like this.
Luckily, since they are live versions, I went ahead and simply edited out the middles of the two songs and replaced with the released album versions.
Do those edits jump out a bit? A little, but it's really not that distracting and you might not even notice. =)
Could I have rerecorded the entire set at home and simply replaced those tracks? I suppose but I really didn't want to do that and risk losing the energy and story that was captured that morning on the mountain.
