We can't wait to help celebrate the Manufactory Collective open house! Let's Pop Up & Play!

We can't wait for you to come hang out with us and all of our tenants next week!

Not only will you get to create with Valley Creative Reuse, Friendly City Clay & Art Center, and Snapology of Harrisonburg, you will also get to design with Juice Works 3D and Embracing Fire Designs.

Along with the awesome interactive activities, you'll get to see Devin Whetstone's, Mia Greenwald's and others work on display in the space.

Have kids? We want them to come learn and play in the space too! The owners of Manufactory Collective have kids of their own and know it can be difficult to go out, so to help you engage kids of all ages, we'll also have Play Circle - Mobile Soft Play in the space.

Bring your whole family, grab some delicious snacks from 1 Sweet McGee, and celebrate finally getting this space opened!

Lets talk about soft play for toddlers!

⭕️ At The Play Circle we believe in helping our children become the best versions of themselves. Through soft play we can help raise children who are confident, strong, caring and resilient. We do this by providing a safe, clean and fun environment for toddlers to explore themselves.

While many may view soft play only as a form of entertainment, may we dive a bit deeper into how important this type of play is for our tiny humans. Play in general is very important, but what if I told you that soft play is one of the most important forms of play for toddlers? Why you may ask? Let me tell you, here are few things that make soft play stand out -

🧠 Helping improve cognitive and development growth - hand and eye coordination

📝 Helping learn problem solving skills - cause and effect

🧑‍🎨 Exploring their creativity - building towers with blocks

🗣️ Reinforcement of social and communication skills - playing with others can help build confidence

🪜 Exploring and building gross motor skills - What are gross motor skills?

These skills are developed through the large core movements of our body such as stepping, climbing, running, jumping, crawling and rolling. Through soft play toddlers can build balance, improve flexibility, and build stronger muscles and bones.

Hi! My name is Heather Nyce, the founder/owner of The Play Circle! I’m a mom to a very active toddler and know how important it is to focus energy in a positive direction. I know as a toddler mom it can be difficult to have quality conversations while toddlers are running around.

So why The Play Circle? My hope is The Play Circle can bridge gaps in our community and help us parents focus our toddlers energy in fun active ways while us parents are able to also build connections! At The Play Circle I will strive to provide the best service while creating clean, safe, fun group play while also creating community with caregivers.

I hope you will trust me to bring more excitement to your next birthday party, baby shower, wedding or cooperate event!
