Alicia has been on a journey to empower women and build self-confidence through bo***ir since 2019. was set up in 2021 and since then we have welcomed women in all stages of life through our doors for this unique experience. Alicia truly believes that EVERY woman should have this experience and this side of the business has become her passion.

We love working with small and local businesses for their professional headshots. New in 2025, we look forward to welcoming high school and college seniors to the HLLP family! Portrait sessions can take place on location or in our photography studio.

At this time, we will not be taking on any family photo shoots, but can refer you to some awesome friends that do them. 💙

Starting with the 2025 season, we will be transitioning away from big weddings. It’s just not a commitment we can make to our clients at this time. However, we cannot imagine leaving the wedding industry all together so we hope to be able to meet some new couples for their engagement photos or elopements. We’re baaaaack!! ☺️

Thank you for allowing us our time away. This last year has been amazing and we will forever be grateful for the time we had together during our son’s first year.

As you’ve seen, we didn’t completely shut it down during our hiatus. We spent some time re-imagining and rebranding a new look and a new vibe. Here’s what you need to know:

➡️ Our photography style has changed. We’ve been feeling a more “dark and moody” vibe for a while and this felt like the right time to transition. We’ll be sharing some favorite images from recent shoots to give you a sense of our new style. Stay tuned…

➡️ We have decided to simplify. Alicia’s bo***ir business () is now merged with HLLP. That means we will be periodically sharing some bo***ir images on this account. If that’s not something you want to see, please go ahead and unfollow us. No hard feelings. 😘 Also, to clarify- it will still only be Alicia involved with bo***ir shoots.

➡️ Our offerings have changed. We will no longer be doing big weddings or family photos. We still want to stay in the wedding industry, but will focus mostly on elopements and engagements/couples. We will continue to take on certain lifestyle shoots, headshots and branding photos as we are able. And of course, the aforementioned bo***ir. More details about all of these offerings can be found on our website.

➡️ Oh, and not that anyone read it other than our moms and 3 of our friends…. but the blog will be going away too. This account, Facebook and our website will be where we’ll share our work moving forward.

It’s been a rewarding 10 years. When we started this business we never could have imagined all the lovely couples, families and vendors we would meet along the way. Your trust in us has meant so much. We have so many great memories from weddings and clients past. All of which will hold a fond place in our hearts forever.

We look forward to this next chapter in our lives and for our business. We hope you’ll continue on this journey with us! 💙

Hi all, please read below for an update:

Thank you for your patience as we took some time off last year. After a lot of consideration, we have decided to close our books for the 2024 season. We will not be taking on any weddings or family shoots this year. We encourage you to consider our friend Jacqueline at Holland Rose Photography for your upcoming events.

We welcomed our son to our family last fall and will be taking this time to enjoy life as a family of 3. We are also considering some business changes for the 2025 season and beyond. More to come on that at a later date. Until then… wishing you a wonderful year ahead! xo
