Shannon & Rick - Vow Renewal
This past Saturday, I was invited to capture an intimate vow renewal for Shannon and Rick. It was a perfect morning here in Napa for these two. I was honored to witness and listen to them proclaiming their love and commitment to each other.

CAMP SUPER FLY DAY 1
This week, I have the opportunity to capture a unique camp here in Napa... Camp Super Fly is a non profit organization started by parents of children with special needs to provide a fun camp experience.
Day 1 was super fun for the kids! I'm looking forward for tomorrow's activities and seeing these kids smile.
Travis & Morgan Surprise Proposal!
Have I told you how much I love surprise proposals! I L.O.V.E love them! I love being a spy, I get so nervous for the guys and so excited for the girls. I don't mind hiding in bushes, pretending I'm a marketing photographer...and today...enduring a 109 degree heat wave at a private vineyard in St. Helena!
Morgan had no clue that on the date of their 5 year anniversary that Travis was going to proposed. So much fun and always an honor to capture the first five minutes of pure love, joy, excitement and shock!

Pearl's 8 year old photoshoot
The "pearly" that inspires Pearly Hens Photography turns 8 today! The photographer side is so glad that I follow my own advise to clients and capture each year with a photoshoot. The mama side can NOT believe it! She's 8!
Seriously everyone, please capture your children each year. We only have them for 18 years, and these past 8 years have been flying.

Bryan's Surprise Proposal to Megan
Yesterday was full of surprises. The first one was Bryan's proposal to Megan. No words can say how honored that I was asked to capture this special moment. Both have gone through so much the past few months, the biggest one was the recent passing away of Bryan's mom. Prior to her death, she had helped Bryan orchestrate the proposal at a friends family vineyard in Calistoga. Every single detail went exactly as planned. Absolute stealthiness! His mom was definitely was watching all the details and her presence was felt throughout the whole morning.
Megan had no clue. She was completely surprised and blown away by the first surprise.
The second surprise was seeing their immediate family in the tasting room when we came back up from the lake.
It was all so emotional, happy and just so exciting. I am stoked for these two! Congratulations again Bryan & Megan!

David and Jessyca
Check out this fun little sneak peek...Yesterday, I had the absolute honor of capturing David's proposal to Jessyca. He had contacted me about a week ago to plan it out...Everything went perfectly! Jessyca is a wedding planner, so surprising her was even more fun.
It was great conspiring with David and the people at Iron Horse Vineyard. I seriously was excited for Jessyca the entire time. I could not help smiling as I watched David leading her...
I love proposals! yes, I did shed a few tears. Happy tears!

A Wintery Wedding
Ok Here it is...a peek to my last wedding of the 2016 Season. I probably should blog about it because I have so much to say about how incredibly perfect, beautiful and fun this Wintery Wedding was up towards Tahoe.
If you remember earlier this year, I had my first snowy / wintery engagement session with Kelsey and Jose. Well they got married last weekend and I truly have to say it was one of the best weddings that I've captured.
I love this couple. I have been taking their family photos for the past 3-4 years, and I am completely honored that I was asked to capture their celebrations. Jose's daughter was the most adorable in her big princess glittery tulle dress. Romo, the family dog, wore his tie and cuffs. The bridesmaids dresses were sparkly and the groomsmen rocked their socks! And of course the couple was stunning.
Everything about the wedding was so thoughtful and intentional. From the Welcome bags for each of the 80 guest to the first looks between the fathers and daughters. Oh and I love how all the guest was someone special to both the bride and groom. I love that they all did not stop dancing until the very last note of the last song! It was great!
It was definitely challenging choosing what images to share, there so many great moments.
