We're half-way through summer vacation! I'm hearing from parents about their child being anxious about starting the new school year. Anxious thoughts can creep up on us weeks and months before an event. So I've decided to reach out to the community to help.
I will be holding 2 FREE classes on Letting Go Of Anxiety For Kids at the Cross Mills Library in Charlestown, RI. July 25th at 10am and August 3rd at 6pm. Call or email the library to sign up for either class.
On August 4th I will be starting a 3-Week class for a group of up to 10 kids. This class is to help kids to:
-recognize how their bodies and mind work during stress and anxiety
-To give kids tools they can be used to prevent anxiety attacks and to calm the body down during anxious moments
-Create a sense of belonging in a group of kids who are going through the same things

Parents are encouraged to join their child so they can learn the techniques and help their child utilize the skills they learn between classes.
