Time for an Introduction!!! So this is us!

We're Lucy and Jesus ( said like Hezus), We are the creators of BE by The Boutique Wedding Co!

11 Years ago we left our London professional lives, to start a new life in Spain.

After 9 months of travelling the world! We settled in Jesus's home-land, Andalucia and to create our Wedding Business!

As well as creating a new business, we wanted to create a sustainable life. Where we have a good balance of work and play and we enjoy what we do and settle for a long time! As a multi- bilingual and multi-cultural couple, We love to travel and explore and our job allows us o do that while we are working and in our down time!

Combining our 27 years of Wedding, Marketing and Events Experience we decided we wanted to create incredible Wedding Experiences for English speaking couples who love Spain as much as we do!!

Our focus is 2 to 3 day Experiences, where our clients bring together all of their loved ones in one place to celebrate in a spectacularly unforgettable way!

Our philosophy for our Boutique Events is always to deliver the highest quality with care and attention to you as a couple! We want you to enjoy the Wedding Planning experience as much as we do!

Marion and Ross's gorgeous Wedding photos from way back in 2022! Posted on my blog I talk about how we work to create sustainable weddings and how important it is for us!

One of the ways we contribute to sustainability is by minimising floral waste. Where possible, we love to move and re-use flowers, ensuring their beauty extends beyond the wedding day. Flowers that can’t be taken away on the night or the next day are given a second life through recycling or gifted to those in need. It’s a heartwarming touch that extends the celebration’s positive impact and brightens lives beyond the immediate wedding circle.

Beyond the blooms, our approach to sustainability permeates every decision we make – from eco-friendly decor choices to conscious catering. We believe that every detail can tell a story of love and care for the planet.

I wanted to share with you the most incredible wedding Video and review from one of my favourite Weddings of 2023!!

Desiree and Marcus travelled all the way from Seattle for their wedding in Span. Their guests travelled form across the globe! It was a truly international wedding, with so much love and vibrancy! incredible is an understatement of how good this day was!

Here’s what Desiree and Marcus said-

Lucy & Jesus are truly the best planners!! Our wedding day exceeded our expectations (& thats very hard to do!). The moment I spoke with Lucy for an intro call I knew they would be our planners after speaking with multiple planners across Europe. Lucy is very on top of the budget & will stay within your design expectations. It can be scary planning a wedding in Europe all the way from the states but Lucy & Jesus made it so easy to the point where we trusted them enough to sign our contract from the venue without ever seeing it in person. We got so close after spending nearly 2 years planning together – felt like best friends!! This duo is fabulous to work with and their dynamic is even better in person. We are SO grateful for the best day of our lives. It was MAGICAL

The pleasure was all ours!! Planning for beautiful couples like Desiree and Marcus is the most satisfying job! They are fun and sweet with the most beautiful ideas that are a joy to bring to life! And of course the added bonus of meeting there lovely families! This is a wedding to remember forever for all involved!

R & B- How stunning is this beautiful bride! This beautiful wedding was 4 years in the making....this beautiful couple were some of the unlucky ones that had to move their date 3 times...Their wedding vision, changed many times, due to big changes in their lives and finally when their big day came around they had a beautiful intimate wedding weekend with their nearest and dearest family and friends Plus 1 very Important guest, their 9 months old baby Tadhg!! It was such a pleasure to work with such amazing people!!

Sharing some gorgeous photos from the amazing Fain Viejo from a Wedding back in October 2022! Even at the end of the Summer this Wedding venue is Glorious! With Pomegranates ripe and ready to fall from the trees and the winters Citrus Fruits blooming in their glory! This is really an incredible location, mixing a feeling of quiet luxury and authenticity. It's for those that love nature and at the same time want a wedding venue where they can feel fully at home!

Throw back to 2022, to an amazing wedding at Hacienda de Oran near Seville that has not had half the Insta time it truly deserves!

I loved the colour palette for Faye and Joe's 3 day wedding experience! The colours blended perfectly and added a super modern vibe!

2023 was a year of big adventures for us! We had been hired by clients who we absolutely loved and when they decided to marry in a Vineyard in the North of Spain of course, despite not being the area we usually live and work in, we made the extra effort to create an amazing wedding for them!

Despite being the 2nd September, being in the north of Spain the weather is a little less reliable than Andalucia so finally we had to move the wedding ceremony inside to the onsite chapel, which was a shame as we'd planned for it in the beautiful gardens!

The Dinner was in a huge bodega, filled wall to wall with wine barrels making for a unique setting for the banquet!

K & S- Celebrating this beautiful Couple! Savannah and Krystian were a dream to work with, the sweetest, kindest people. They planned their wedding in Spain, all the way from Washington DC , and what a journey it was together!

Here is what they had to say- Lucy and Jesus were absolutely incredible! We had our wedding in the summer of 2021 in Ronda, Spain. Not only is it difficult to plan a wedding, but to try and plan it abroad and during it pandemic...forget it! We couldn't have done it without them! I couldn't recommend them enough. I stumbled upon The Boutique Wedding Co. while searching for a planner and I feel so incredibly lucky to have found Lucy and Jesus. Immediately off the bat vendors and caterers were booked and all I had to was go through them to see which fit our budget and desires. My husband and I are both very busy with our jobs, so it was incredibly nice to just have to pick what we wanted instead of searching on our own.

My husband lives in Spain but, I currently live in the United States, and I was a little worried about the language barrier but, Lucy and Jesus did absolutely everything for us. Lucy was present while I was getting ready and helped translate any gaps during hair and makeup. I never once was worried about any of the wedding planning because Lucy did absolutely everything for us. Setting up the wise account for payment overseas was also so simple and Lucy was kind enough to make a very detailed spreadsheet on costs and deposits.

Our wedding day was perfect thanks to Lucy and Jesus. All I did was I sent my Pinterest board over on what I wanted our day to look like and they brought it to life! The decorations were absolutely stunning, and it looked better than I could have ever imagined. I cannot recommend The Boutique Wedding Co. enough! I will always recommend them to any friends deciding to do their wedding abroad. I couldn't have imagined a more fairytale wedding!

When we originally decided we wanted to have our wedding in Spain we didn't know where to start, we contacted Lucy and Jesus and it was the best decision we ever made.
They guided us through our whole wedding adventure, from start to finish.
Their expert advice of Andalucía was pivotal. They helped us pick our venue from an extensive list and we narrowed it down until going out to Spain to meet Lucy and Jesus and finally pick our venue.

We planned our wedding from the US and after initially feeling daunted, felt completely comfortable because Lucy and Jesus have impeccable taste. They showed us a number of venues, spent lots of time talking through them with us, and helped us choose our ultimate venue, Fain Viejo in Arcos de la Frontera.

The wedding was exactly what we hoped for and more. Lucy took our inarticulate descriptions of what we wanted and created the most beautiful and colourful décor. So many guests have since commented on how beautiful the flowers, tables, and decorative touches were. All of the partners they recommended were excellent from the venue and food providers (Fain Viejo), to the florist (B for Blooms), photographers (Eloy Munoz and Aleks), make up artist (Charlotte Lothigius), hair stylist (Gabriela), and ice cream vendor (Charly Cook).

They also go above and beyond – for example we asked for spicy margarita cocktails at our wedding (unusual for Spain) and Lucy sweetly scoured the supermarkets of southern Spain to try and find jalapenos!

In the last years, Ronda has become a real gem for destination wedding. The popularity of Ronda in the travel industry dates back a few decades at national and international level. But it is now when couples ask the most for this little town in the mountains of Malaga. The truth is Ronda offers lots of benefits as a choice. South of Spain, great weather, fantastic food, plenty of restaurants and remarkable sights. It is within 90 mins to an international Airport, but still so Andalusian authentic.

Alex and Laura were already in love with this white hill top town before we met them. They were sure about it, but they need it help to make it happen the way they wanted. Lucky for us, we have been working for a long time now in Ronda and we knew what are the best locations & suppliers for each type of wedding. So at the end all work out great!

An stylist rustic lux wedding with every premium thing that you would expect on such special day, surrounded by the most authentic natural mountains landscape, where they could party like there is no tomorrow with their friends. And did they party,… till the sun came out.
