Heartfelt Thanks to Our Community

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making our Town of Swansea Parade a success! To Mayor McDaniel, our dedicated police force, the Grand Marshal-Mr. Bishop, and Swansea High School, all participants, and everyone's presence made a lasting impact. A special shout-out to the JROTC, our veterans, and the incredible P.U.L.L. team for their outstanding efforts and heartfelt gratitude to PSSC, and their dedication created something truly memorable. This year’s grand marshal is Mr. Michael Bishop, who is the owner of Bishop’s at the Mill (formerly Swansea Milling Company) and Dust to Dust Green Burial/Nature Reserve Cemetery. He has 30 years of work experience with Clemson University and was previously the Town of Springdale’s mayor. Mr. Bishop will be representing Swansea, Gaston, and Pelion on Lexington County Council, starting in January.
