So I’ve sat here forever trying to think how to post this. Even as I type this it has been edited and changed so many times. We always share our weddings that we play. This one is different. We were blessed today to play a beautiful wedding for Alex and Gracie Kent Daniel. You see, Gracie lost her mom in the late hours of Friday night/Saturday morning. Kelly was a beautiful person. So full of s***k and life. Nobody saw it coming. Their entire family has been friends of ours for many years.
Kelly would have wanted the wedding to go on…..and it did. When they say it takes a village it truly does and this family has such a village behind them. She was such a planner and had worked so hard and I felt so blessed to be a part of her vision for her daughters beautiful day. We worked side by side with their village. Some we knew, some we didn’t until yesterday and some that we still don’t know but we were all there for the Kent family. Everyone worked so hard to make Kelly’s vision come to life for her daughter. It was amazing. The pictures show the village working together.
There were lots of tears in the midst of the day. Some happy tears, some sad tears but more than anything there was love. Lots of love. Kelly was there in spirit. Her love and presence was felt.
Please keep this entire family in your thoughts and prayers in the coming days as they lay Kelly to rest. Her impact on the world was huge.
