A trend that will never get old to me: cute babies and little ones in chunky sweaters!
I don’t know if it’s because they look grown up or just shows their size but kids in big sweaters have my heart! Mollie wore a custom chunky sweater with her name on it for our session and it was such a special keepsake to have as she grows!

What a spectacular wedding day, Congratulations Beth & Pat! 🎉🎉
Yes there was rain, and yes we still got awesome portraits! It rained heavy through most of the day, and stopped for a while until after their last dance of the night we ran outside for “just one more” 😂 and it was totally worth it!!

Thankful for awesome friends who also happen to do what you do!
Not once but twice this week I get to work with and I couldn’t BE more excited!
We are on always on the same page while photographing together and having fun, but and now can add to the resume accidentally dressing similar too 😂😂 ( thanks for the behind the scenes photo from your amazing day!)

Trust.
In every session from weddings and families to babies… it’s the biggest thing to consider when choosing your photographer. Trust me that I will put you in the best light. Trust me that I will take care of your sweet babies during our session as if they were mine. Trust me that my goal is to take these moments in your life and freeze time through beautiful photographs.
The most asked question I get is “How do you get professional looking photos in my living room?” The answer: Trust and some creative cropping. I photograph in any room with good light, and bring the setups that I think will work best for your vision. I only need a little bit of space on the floor for my bean bag setup or backdrops like pictured here to be setup and you can create magic like this!

Instead I’m a complete Lobster! I was photographing sessions, took off my jacket, and forgot to apply more sunscreen… now I’m paying for that mistake🦞🤦🏼‍♀️

Our favorite series to read to JT is “Twas’ the night before…” and this flowed out all too easy for me tonight 😂🤗

Twas the night before a wedding when all through the house…
All the camera batteries were charging; even the computer and mouse.
The lenses were packed in the luggage with care, in hopes they’d make some awesome images in tomorrow’s fresh air
The couple was nestled all snug in their beds while visions of wedding vows and a great party danced in their heads.
Then what to my wondering should appear but a pretty new venue and eight early guests. In the bridal suite sat bridesmaids looking their best.
Down the aisle the bride came with a bound, dressed in all white, guests not making a sound.
The officiant spoke a few words and went straight to their work. Even told the same homily which made the photographers smirk.
And the groom laying his hand aside of the bride’s face, sealed the deal with a kiss and warm embrace.
Guests sprang to their feet with a cheer and whistle. The couple processed down the aisle like an early class dismissal. And I heard them exclaim as they went out of sight… lets start this party we’re married tonight!

Not sure how we got to fall so quickly. Maybe it was shooting at 18 weddings, 8 newborns, 30 family sessions, a quick trip to Disney World and one basement flooding that made Summer fly by! 🤷🏼‍♀️ so happy to have documented so many photographs for so many during one season!
I’m just most excited for my favorite season to bring the cooler weather, and fresh apple cider donuts! 🍃🍂
