One of the most beautiful things that many have missed out on in the modern church is the ebb and flow of unity and willingness to search the heart of God together in leadership.

Any well-organized entity advances and becomes efficient. But when things are chaotic, inactive, controlling, and full of discord and strife, that is your clue that the foundation is shifty!

Not surprisingly, because much of the church is still just now beginning to understand the New Testament structure, there is a rumbling taking place. When we begin to see how Jesus structured the church (not in hierarchy or tradition), with Him as the head and cornerstone, we realize it takes a lot of burden off of us as individuals and instead shows us a unique and strong structure that can withhold all He has for His bride.

We can then duplicate and take ground.

When we embrace this instead of trying to control it, something shifts. When we focus on communicating, healthy confrontation, discipleship, and yielding to one another, we begin to see a greater picture of our mission.

You can learn more about things like this on our website as you begin to desire the shift in your church, home gathering, community, and storehouse.

We are working on adding more and more to our resources page!

Romans, Thessalonians, Ephesians, John—so many scriptures in the Bible talk about being chosen by God before the foundations of the earth. God is all knowing, all seeing, all powerful. At the beginning and end, He is there. He is outside of all time and space. Yet He chose those whom He knew He could entrust His gift to. It doesn’t mean you won’t mess up. It doesn’t mean some won’t fall away.

But here’s what it does mean….

It means that the God of all creation knows that with Christ within you, you have the ability and capacity to never turn away. You have the ability to take the “bags of gold” He entrusts to you and duplicate it—just like the parable in Matthew 25 says.

If He has chosen you and has given you something He entrusts you with—run with it. There are guardrails. There are boundaries. But faith is the difference between sharing it and advancing it, or hiding it away and not even collecting interest.

You are not working for your salvation—it is free. But faith without works is dead.

In the parables of the bags of gold, the Master gave each servant different amounts of bags of gold according to their ability and capacity. It was free. But He expected them to do something with it before He returned.

The one with five bags and the one with two bags invested and made more. But the servant given one bag was afraid and hid his bag away. When the Master returned He told the servants that did something with what they had been given, that they would be given even more, and He would place them in authority over others. But the one who did nothing, he was called a wicked servant. For even putting it in the bank to collect interest would’ve been better than doing nothing.

The moral of the story—
You are chosen. You’ve been entrusted with a gift. God entrusts you with the gifts He gives you and expects you to use and advance them. You are working out your salvation with fear and trembling, but works won’t save you.

Let this encourage you in everyday life—you have a God who sees you and entrusts you because of Christ within you. This takes the burden off of you—His burden is light. And when He returns, He wants to find you ready.

Earlier this week I was the guest of a show that is on the National Religious Broadcasting network. We talked about homesteading and natural living, but we also talked about our faith, leadership, and the church.

As I sat there in conversation, I thought back to the moment when I began to unapologetically talk about my faith and Jesus. Something interesting happens when someone in leadership of a company, organization, or even politics, begins to make their position more about Jesus than themselves.

What happens? It causes everyone down the line to do the same thing.

When I began speaking the name of Jesus, so did the speakers of our events. Suddenly they, too, felt a release to be able to just be who they are, fully—a follower of Jesus.

We see the same thing happening in America—in church and politics.

Church leaders are beginning to see the bad and the good, and they are speaking about it, and fixing it.

Politicians are talking about Jesus more. Friends, EVEN IF the politician is not a good example of a Christian, something incredible is still happening. You don’t have to agree with the example, but we can note that suddenly things are shifting. Local politicians are beginning to unapologetically speak the name of Jesus, present laws and bills that align with scripture, and more.

And in the messiness of bad examples, it is causing the remnant of the body of Christ to say “ok, there IS a better way, now let’s teach it.”

I feel like I have lived my entire life being told all of the things we shouldn’t do. But who’s teaching the things we SHOULD do?

I was recently convicted by the Lord that maybe I’m a little too harsh when it comes to refinement of the bride. Yet sometimes it is needed. But instead, He was calling me to teach the RIGHT way. While being refined myself in the process.

The world doesn’t want a sugar coated gospel. It wants to see the real Jesus. Not ONLY the Jesus that loves, and not ONLY the Jesus that flips tables—but BOTH in balance.

Leaders—no matter where you are in leadership, the time is NOW to be unapologetically outspoken about your faith.

We change a nation and people not by shrinking back!

Communion was never meant to be a routine—it was meant to be remembrance, reverence, unity, and relationship.

It’s not just a cup and a cracker. It’s the table. The fellowship. The weight of what Christ actually did.

In the early church, they didn’t treat communion like a scheduled ritual—they lived it. With full hearts, honest repentance, and deep gratitude. They lived it by coming together in like mind and accord. In fact, Paul said that there was sickness among the body because they were taking communion in an unworthy way.

We’ve made it small.

But biblically, it’s sacred. It’s powerful. It’s a call to examine your heart and truly remember the sacrifice that brought life from death.

There is both beauty and gravity in communion.
And when we begin to see it rightly, it changes everything.

Over the last week or so of Passover and Easter traditions, the topic of communion has been so richly on my heart and mind. It is often reduced to a small plastic cup of grape juice and a small paper thin wafer. The pastor or priest in a church service will imply that it is time to take communion, and then read the scriptures from the last supper in Matthew or Luke. You’ll be prompted to eat of the bread (His body) first, and then the juice (wine, His blood). At times the minister will encourage you to have a time of reflection or confession of sin, or search your heart for hidden bitterness, before taking communion. Though, that is less common today than it used to be.

Communion at its biblical core, however, is so much more than this. In this recent letter, I’m walking through what I’ve learned about communion, what it is (and isn’t), and how we should take part in it today. It might surprise you!

Are you joining us for the Friday evening service at this year?

We know you’ve been waiting for the announcement, and we are so excited to share more about it as the pieces begin to fall in place.

Revival is not a church service, it is a lifestyle. Revival is not goosebumps and loud preaching, it is the reviving of dry places in a deserted wasteland. It is the restoration of all things. It is LIFE giving.

In the times we are living in, now more than ever we need to hear words and stories that give life! The ones that push us forward in our mission, encourage us to take up our cross daily, and build our faith.

1 Corinthians 14:26 says “Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.”

And thats exactly what we are doing the Friday night of the HOA conference at 6:30 pm. FREE to EVERYONE!

Baptisms and prayer on site, as always.

This year we will have several people sharing and ministering—not just one! Our worship set will be acoustic by Dustin and Stephanie Dawson. Just come and be in the presence of the Lord, minister to Him, and have your faith built up!
fewell will start the night off with a brief word and exhortation, then we’ll go into a time of ministry and testimony (homestead stories and more!) with .kaonga and , as well as others!

We will end the night with more acoustic worship, baptisms, and prayer.

Let’s come together and worship King Jesus!

Over and over and over again.

Discipleship is so necessary.
Worship is so necessary.
Reading the word is so necessary.

It’s ALL necessary.

But the reality is that if we are not DUPLICATING—then we are not advancing.

Nation will rise against nation.
Kingdom will rise against kingdom.

Two different things. Apply it to the earthly, but apply the kingdom aspect to the spiritual realms too. Nothing is ONLY physical—it is ALWAYS spiritual. What you see in the earth is kingdom against kingdom—light, and darkness. And the light always overcomes the darkness.

We often only focus on the wars and rumors of wars part, but the rest of this scripture talks about famine, pestilence (like plagues), and more.

And so if we see one we can also expect the others to follow. But here’s what we must hold onto the most—verse 12-13.

Those verses say— “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

When war comes…
When pestilence rages…
When famine overwhelms…

Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world.
The light shines brighter.

There is a reformation and revolution happening in the earth. This is revival. That which can be shaken is being shaken. And friend, that might include your own ideologies and the exposure of the posture of your heart.

Let it happen.
We must become a people that are unshakable.
We must be the kingdom of God in the earth.
We must stop making it political and realize we do not fight flesh and blood but principalities and strongholds in the spiritual realms.

Let God do the shaking.
Let your feet do the taking of the gospel to all people.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

I want to encourage you in what the Lord is doing.

Over the last two weeks I’ve talked to pastors and pioneers in the kingdom who are hearing the call of the Lord to build in their region. And I have another week of conversations coming up this week.

The Lord is speaking to His people in various spheres. He is calling us to true unity and community. He is repositioning His bride in every single denomination of Christianity. I see the flame of unity burning brighter and brighter across all denominations. Just this week I spoke with a Baptist pastor who literally has an entire storehouse now activated. He has a generational farm where he teaches his family and congregants how to use old school farm equipment so they aren’t dependent on new tools in cases of EMPs etc. And friends, he is almost 70! You are NEVER too old to make a difference in the kingdom, especially if you are doing what God has ANOINTED you to do.

Not only that, but these leaders are teaching foundational principals and doctrine in the Word. They are on fire for the true Kingdom of God—not man’s version.

I feel you—I feel your tiredness, your frustration, and your feeling of delay in the body of Christ. Often times I feel like Peter and Paul wracking their heads wondering why it’s so hard to get sheep to come together and just follow Jesus—the pure and simple gospel. And at the same time, I know He must shake His head at me often too. What a merciful, gracious, and patient God we have.

May this encourage you this week—God is not silent. Revival in the land is on the horizon. His sheep know His voice. And they are feeling the rumblings. These aren’t just pastors and elders, they are average everyday people with the blueprints of an Almighty God. With conviction and a firm foundation. All they do is keep saying YES.

Pioneer—I see you, I’m praying for you, and I know God will bless you and so many others as you continue to put your hand to the plow. Don’t give up!!!

With recent headlines of more chemicals filling our food and nation, it’s easy to sit back and critique. But it’s more difficult to rise up to the occasion and BECOME the solution. This is what we should have always been and done. The time is now.
