The Purple Dish Challenge!

Shoutout to (last year’s Favorite Chef winner) for inspiring this challenge! It was such a fun and rewarding experience stepping out of what I usually make to try something totally new!

Here we have pomegranate and red wine glazed purple heirloom carrots with pickled beetroot cream and marinated red cabbage and onion slaw.

Hey friends, followers and foodies! Just a quick update to let you know I’m hitting pause on new bookings for a while. It’s time to level up my game, recharge and come back even stronger! 💪🏾

I won’t be taking new bookings until further notice but stay tuned here for more food, updates and some behind the scenes magic in the meantime.

Plantain and Ewa Riro, once again. This pairing just doesn’t get old! I originally made these with black eyes beans, but my mum recently convinced me to switch to honey beans (Ewa oloyin) and I see why! They have such a pleasant subtle sweetness to them.

I had seen this plating idea clear as day in my head and I had been itching to try it out for a while. As soon as I got my hands on a ring mold, I went to work!

Topped with spicy peppered shrimp, a little drizzle of chive oil and a sprinkling of crushed plantain chips, this dish took me to the moon and back!
