Ok. I'm going to come out with it because I need to start generating a buzz. You ready? I was hired and given a budget to open a Bistro. Totally different types of food. Menu will be small at first. But as you have already tasted, no matter what I cook it's good.😜😎 So I will be doing bad ass sandwiches and all my bread is fresh made daily by MY OWN bakers, all ingredients will be farm fresh, no FAKE deli meats. The ham and turkey and all that will be wood board carved. Smoothies, lattes, soups, bagels, breakfast burritos, just to name a few items. I will still be doing Homiez on the side and I'm still doing door dash but I have to get this up and running for now first. But look at it like this. Not only will you have Homiez to choose from, now you can also have a whole new variety to taste. Hours will be 6am-2pm then 5pm-11pm. In order for me to be successful at this I need YOU. So start spreading the word. Chef Bonez is finally going to be on the scene. No one will be able to mess with me now. MMMUUAAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!😎🎉🥳
When I open there better be a 2 mile long line at my door too people.😜🤣
Here's just a few examples of some of the items I might recreate. Nothing set in stone. These are just sandwiches I made for fun over the last few years. The ones I'm going to do now will be totally better and mastered. This is just to give you an idea of what's coming. Shooting for a January opening.

These last 3 years of trying to find redemption through my love of food has been 3 of the most hardest years of my life. The nasty crap I learned and had to admit about myself. The addictions I had to come agrip with, the highs, the lows, the personal battles, my son and family drama that a lot of my dream chasing has caused. The people I've hurt and pushed away in order to focus on my goal...It all finally came to head not long ago. Then BAM! Two weeks ago an opportunity was presented to me that just changed my whole future for the better.
So after so many screaming and yelling matches with God, I'm standing in front of a church today with tears in my eyes, DMX's remix of a Phil Collins song called Feel It In The Air playing in the background about to be baptized yet again to try this thing one last time. I sort of lost my way over the last year ya know. But despite it all I'm still standing and the Lord is still blessing me so in the famous words of Whitesnake, Here I Go Again!!
Just another part of my journey I wanted to share with you today. ❤️

The C.C Story

Hello, Welcome to the Comfort Catering FB page. My name is Joshua, owner and chef of C.C. I am also accompanied by my mother Yvonne who does all the baking and desserts. We both come from German and Mexican backgrounds, so cooking in our family was always an event. Moms’ skills of course were handed down from her mom and learned the old school way. Mom is a great cook but also a great meal inventor. See, mom was a single parent who raised my sister and I on a fixed budget so creating a good meal out of what she had was a gift. As I grew older I too started to catch the cooking bug. My first job was in a fast food restaurant and I continued to work my way up the restaurant chain through the years until I became a saute chef in my mid 20’s. However, it was my moms and grandmas creativity that stuck with me, because over the last 27 years I have designed and created my own style of cooking and my own recipes. I infuse the food of us common folk with a flare of fanciness from the artistic culinary side of the food world. I can cook from high class foods down to good ol’ meat and potatoes, but it’s my own recipes and styles I enjoy making most and are the foods that I intend to make for you. Recipes from my own brain down to your table. Food that will put a smile on your face and a few inches on your waist. This is why I chose the name Comfort Catering, because I’m bringing the comfort I felt from my families cooking to your family. We make our food with love, heart and soul. I won't say we are the best, but we’re pretty darn close. So book your next event with C.C and let us comfort your catering needs.
