Cydney and I met while both working at The Bridal Gallery. We connected over a lot of things, but mainly fashion and our soft souls. When she contacted me all these years later to photograph her engagement and wedding, I was so touched and honored. Her inspiration for the session was The Notebook, and they wanted to have it take place in Deep Cove because it has a special place in their hearts. Not copying scenes like "if your a bird, I'm a bird" but more evoking the romance and essence of the film. Nods to scenes like Ali and Noah's first date, laying together on the ground and dancing under the sky. A lazy sunday picnic, like the many they would have had near the home he built her. I think we nailed it 🩵

It was worth waking up at 4:30 am with Cydney + Zach for their sunrise engagement session for this shot ✨️ alone ✨️
