We will be hosting a Celebration of Life for Bob Ricker on the 29th from 5pm-8pm in the green tent in the paddock.

It will include a one hour open bar, followed by cash bar along with all kinds of food.

Dear Florida Region SCCA Members,

This year your Board of Directors has decided to change the format of the end of year Banquet. First, there will be no driver awards this year; due to us having only three Regional race weekends, we have decided to combine 2023 with 2024 for all points’ championships. There will be awards given for volunteers and the special Region awards.

To hopefully get more of our membership involved, the Board has decided to do a picnic, making the event more family-orientated. The date will be Saturday afternoon, December 2nd. The cost will be $30 for one adult, $50 for two adults and (if applicable) your kids.

The picnic will be catered with food from Fuller's Bar-B-Que, and beer, wine, sodas and water will be included (due to park rules, no hard liquor is permitted). There will be a couple of bounce houses / slides for the kids along with a photo booth.

We are looking at two parks in Broward County to make the location as central as possible for our members. The parks are:

Markham Park - just off the intersection of I-595, I-75 and the Sawgrass Expressway

Tradewinds Park - just off Florida's Turnpike at Sample Road

There is a survey in the comments to provide your input on which park you would prefer the event to be held at, along with your indication (not binding) as to whether you expect to attend and how many adults and children you expect to bring.

Please respond by June 15th, so that we can finalize the arrangements.
