This is a bridesmaid bouquet from my good friend Alice's wedding. It could even be the one I carried as one of her maids! Hers was the first destination wedding I ever flowered. It was at a gorgeous, waterfront property in Maine! Alice loves sunflowers, so she chose yellow and blue. We worked with a local, organic farm to choose her summery blooms. It's been many years, and I don't make a lot of round bouquets anymore, but I'm still fond of this one. Good memories keeping me warm while it's 0 degrees outside.

Biding their time, putting out feelers, storing up their energy for show time while bearing the brunt of the brutal meantime. Let's take a lesson in resilience from that.
