When Jules & Kev reached out, I was truly excited to hear their idea for the elopement. It sounded like the perfect date: play pool, eat Cantonese noodles, go for a walk and have ice cream 🥺

I loved that it was different. And I love that it tells a story. I can’t wait to edit more photos from this day and share them here with you soon!

The funny thing about seeking balance is that the more you seek it, the more elusive it seems to become. As an entrepreneur-mom-wife, balance can sometimes feel like a very distant dream. Between parenting, client calls, editing, admin work, house work, social media, budgeting, and many more, it can definitely feel a lot sometimes.

But then I think back on my why — why I started this to begin with and who this is all for.

I look at my family and I think about their childhood and all the little moments I wish I can hold on to forever. And I think about all the people I’ve had the opportunity of meeting. All the stories I have been part of and will be part of in years to come. I think about the legacy this will one day leave my family, and the legacies I’m creating with you.

And suddenly, all the big, small, mundane, and even messy moments feel 100000% worth it. What I’m trying to say is: at the end of the day, our most priced treasure will be the moments we share with people we love.

So take your moments, hold on to them, and remember who all it is all for. 🖤

Taking the time to hear more about what matters most to you is truly one of my favourite parts of being a photographer. 🥺🖤

Hearing your process, seeing the details you select, and meeting all of your friends and family is always a beautiful experience. For J + T, what mattered to them were the big and intimate moments with their loved ones.

Although there were so many memorable moments from this day, there was something so special about seeing all the love from cocktail hour and reception dinner. It was during these moments when I saw J + T in their element. It wasn’t about “posing”, it was them just living, being present with their loved ones.

At the end of the day, this is what I hope for. A chance for me to see you for you really are. A chance to document your real, everyday love. ✨

Weihan and Chloe’s story began when they were introduced at university by a mutual friend. Chloe was catching up with a childhood friend who happened to be in the same course as Weihan. Their friendship blossomed, and a year later, they became a couple. Five years down the line, Weihan proposed at the very spot where they had first bonded during a hike. “It’s amusing how we started as friends on the ‘friendship trail’ and ended up much more.”

Hey friends 🖤 just wanted to put a face behind the brand and finally share these photos that took for me early this year.

My name is Iris, a wife, and mom to two beautiful girls. Photography has always been my passion project. I remember falling in love with it in my teenage years, always experimenting with different cameras and finding inspiration in the ordinary moments. I always wondered what it would be like to document people’s stories and it’s crazy to say that I actually get to do that now. 🥺

Late last year, we welcomed home our second daughter, which has made life extra busier for our family of four. Between late night editing sessions, diaper changes, and preschool drop-offs, I’ve had time to really think a lot about this journey and my whys for starting this in the first place.

When I think about my why, it really boils down to this desire to build connection. I want to hear the story you’re going to share with your kids one day about how you met the love of your life. I want to learn about the friends coming to your wedding and why they mean the world to you. At the end of the day, my favourite part is seeing your excitement in finally marrying your best friend.

When I photograph your wedding, I’m not there to simply capture moments. My goal is to build connection so I can feel your story and get lost in it.

To me, every couple has its own beat, it’s own rhythm. There are beautiful subtleties that can only be captured when there’s trust between us.
