Last weekend I had the opportunity to play my first closing set at .nl 🔥 ft. MC Goblin on the mic () 🎤!
I have not yet had the chance to play a lot of the heavier tunes in my collection, so I made sure to make the selection count for this set! 😎 Have a look at some of the outtakes of the night and let me know what you think!

My broken hand has luckily healed enough to be able to mix again! For this year's DJ contest, I opted to dive back into the genre that got me into drum & bass: Dancefloor 🥳! Besides that I've snuck in some sneaky deep rollers and a couple of liquid tracks to have some contrast as well. In true Loxin fashion it also includes bootlegs and remixes of regular pop songs. As always, any feedback is welcome and I'd gladly return the favor! 😎🙏

Changing things up… 😉
Last Friday, I got the opportunity to open the night for in . This time no Drum & Bass, but UK Garage and breakbeats at 135-140bpm for a change!
Thanks .shufflz and for this great evening! I'm thankful that they have crowned my mix as the winning mix of their DJ contest 🙏, it was great to be on stage in our local music venue 😎!
Also thanks to .dnb for shooting some amazing footage of my set 🎦!

I've also made sure to capture more angles to make a full set montage for YouTube in the future… 👀

Happy new year!

This year has been another wild ride for me! On the personal side I've finally moved in to my newly built house, which was a stressful experience and took quite some time. On the DJ side I've been able to play at Champion Sound () and Moonshine and numerous smaller events. I've been invited to do a couple of guest mixes for and and my mixes regularly air on Radio 972 DnB Lab. I'm thankful for all these opportunities!

While all of that is really cool, I've also faced troubles this year. Missing a gig because I was too ill to perform was heartbreaking for me, as I don't get that many chances to perform live at events. At the end of 2024, I visited too many raves which had physically and mentally drained me more than I had hoped. I've used my days off to reflect on this and hopefully will be able to avoid this rabbit hole going forward. Another gentle reminder to take enough rest and take care of your mental health!

In 2025, I would like to host a sort of radio show / live stream where I invite people over to play a set on my new dream setup. That is, if the mixer and the 3rd CDJ do finally arrive (thanks DHL)… Stay tuned for this, as I still need some time to set this all up properly and do some sound treatment / decorating of the DJ den in the attic.

Finally I would like to thank the DnB community in NL as a whole. I've met so many new friends the past two years during my journey! It's such a good feeling to be able to visit a rave and always meet some familiar faces!

Moving house has taken quite some time, and I didn't want to premiere the set during ADE, so I felt like delaying the upload by a week or two.

Also, the 30th of November, Champion Sound returns to Nobel Leiden with a sick lineup! Perhaps I'll come over join the crowd this time! 🥳
