Hear ye, hear ye! Many have asked for details for the 2024 Costume Contest and here they are! Below you will find information. We promise the details will fill themselves in as you arrive and visit the Costume Contest booth. Doors open at 6:30 pm so come early if you want to ensure you make it into the contest.

HOW TO VOTE
*Receive a ballot at check-in
*Visit the Costume Contest booth in the vendor area between 7:30 pm to 9 pm
*Find numbered mugshot of the costume you're voting for and cast your ballot!

HOW TO ENTER
*Check-in at the Costume Contest booth in the vendor area between 6:30 pm to 8 pm to have your mugshot taken. A photo of your costume will be hung up for attendees to vote on throughout the night.
*First 30 costumes to self select + 10 Producers choice will be permitted into the contest. Couples costumes to be judged as one costume will count as one participant.
*Eligibility Requirements: Must be a paid ticket holder. Staff, vendors, volunteers and performers are not eligible to participate.
*The top three costumes will be notified at 9:15 pm and brought back to the Costume Contest booth to have a mugshot with the event photographer. If you have not been notified by 9:15 pm, you have not been selected as finalists.
*Winner will be announced at 9:45 on the main stage. Top Ballot Costume gets $100!
*By entering the contest, you are agreeing to your photo being used for Opelika Villains Ball at will.

No need to be thirsty at the Opelika Villains Ball. Whether you are getting your party time beverage on or want to get amped on coffee or citrus and sugar, you've got options!

John Emerald Distilling Company will be turning out craft cocktails with their unique flare. Pictured is The Brandied Apple: muscadine brandy, granny smith apple simple syrup, lemon, lime, and club soda. 🍏💀 They will have multiple bars available for the night to ensure you can grab cocktails, wine and beer while not sacrificing too much dance time.

Grandma Val's Lemonade and More will be onsite with her delicious lemony concoctions that are a local favorite, made with fresh fruit and the magic that only Val herself can add.

Red Valley Brew is joining us for their first year! It's not just cold brew coffee, you're supporting a mission for authenticity and quality.

Do you love volunteering at events because you've done it before and know that it's a great way to experience event fun? Are you a little bit of an introvert and you like to be at a party, but you also like to have a job so you can avoid small talk? Are you low on budget for party times but still want to show off your costume? We've got a spot for you!!!

We need volunteers throughout the night to make sure everyone has a great time, including you. If interested in more details, please PM Opelika Villains Ball and we will send you more information on timing and positions to see if there is a position that is right for you!

Volunteers Receive free admission to enjoy the party outside of their shift, snacks and sodas while on shift and unlimited high fives from me!
