Our Story
Gifthorse photography started back in 2010 when photographer Søren Olsen was living in a house full of actors. All these actors needed headshots, so Søren said “I’ll take them!”. He borrowed a friends camera and used his knowledge of Lighting Design to take some pretty solid headshots. After that, more and more people kept asking him for these shots, and he soon decided to buy his own camera and provide the service whenever some one was looking.
He continues to focus on Portraits and Headshots, because he loves the one on one interaction and helping people feel confident and approachable when having their picture taken. He works out of his home studio and keeps his rate low to continue to provide an affordable and high quality service for those who have the need. $100 for a session, easy as that.
Gifthorse is primarily a referral based photography service. Little outside promotion is done, but they are ALWAYS taking new clients. Thank you for visiting! PM for an appointment or with any questions.
