💖 Getting married in 2025?
Having to shorten a dress is a common alteration for Brides. Then, what should we do with the lace offcuts?

Lace offcuts refashioned into bespoke bridal accessories for the bride or bridal party add a unique style to the wedding party’s look.

Here’s how to request an appointment:
• To schedule an in-person appointment, you can message via Instagram, Facebook, email, or phone.

What’s Next?
Bring the lace offcuts and other materials you’d like used in the design to your appointment. A note: Your appointment is an exclusive one-on-one appointment. At the appointment, we will decide on the design that reflects your style. Orders can take as little as 2 weeks up to 12 weeks, depending on the design.

Ever wonder what’s behind the scenes?

Refashioned bridal accessories are a favorite at the Boutique. Creating heirloom keepsakes is nostalgic, adds the bride’s style to the wedding day look, and pays homage to the women in her family. Here’s the design process.

In the first photo, the bride is wearing a lace hair comb made from her Mom’s wedding dress. The second photo shows the first appointment when she brought in her mom’s wedding dress. Here, we figured out which lace sections to use and also the style for the hair comb.

Next, only the sections of the dress that will be used in the design are deconstructed. The goal is to save as much of the dress’s design as possible for other possible heirloom keepsakes.

My favorite part comes next. Presenting a sample for fitting and adjusting the design as the bride wishes. Once approved, the refashioned lace hair comb is wrapped in archival tissue paper and carefully placed in a beautiful box, all ready for the wedding day 💖

Here’s the before and after photos for prepping pine cones for holiday decor.

A good way to clean the pine cones is to soak for an hour or so in a vinegar (1/2 cup) and water (3 quarts) bath.
