It’s been a running start for the 2022 Budweiser Stage concert series (and my 9th consecutive season) — l can’t put into words how great it is to be back in the building with my summer family, playing tunes for people again!
Find me in the Bud Stage Lake House (on the roof), DJ’ing every single show, for the rest of the summer.
Some of the bands I look *most* forward to DJ’ing for this season include The Doobie Brothers, The Backstreet Boys, Alanis Morissette, Sir Rod Stewart, Santana & Earth Wind & Fire, Jack White, Metric & Interpol, John Fogerty, and last but definitely not least, The Pet Shop Boys & New Order!

How much conga line footage should one person have?
On This Day: 2012, I was co-throwing a little party called SHAKE RATTLE & ROLL at Clinton’s and we always had the best crowds; many of whom that I remain good friends with to this day! And if you know me, you know that I’ve gotta make us all Jump In The Line at least once together on a Saturday night!
Which brings me to the realization:
⚠️ IS THE CONGA LINE A THING OF THE PAST? ⚠️
Who’s gonna wanna touch a random person’s shoulders or hips and dare to break our social distancing rules once our venues (or whatever’s left) open up again? I would, but must admit that it’s gonna feel weird — some may never want to again at all! It may be a while before it all happens and we’re back to some sort of “normal”.
But oh. The joy. The absolute joy we will feel once we are all dancing together again, truly letting lose of all worries and fears and scream-singing our favourite tunes at the top of our lungs! A conga line would be pretty sweet, too.

We made a difference – together, my Torontonian sisters DJ Babs & DJ Nico raised nearly $1,000 for REDWOOD, and we couldn’t have done it without your time and donations.
