Straight out of Detroit City, a crew of buccaneers is setting sail under the banner of The Strains, led by the underground legend Paul Dumbell Smith.

The performance will showcase a career retrospective setlist curated by the captain, encompassing songs from DUMBELL the DAMAGERS, the CONSULTANTS, the RATS, and introducing some fresh STRAINS material they've been diligently working on. The band boasts (ex-)members from renowned groups such as the HYDROMATICS, LORDS of ALTAMONT, SAVAGE BEAT, and more. Dj Santina Runaway and dj duo Grachtwater will spin records before and after the show.

The first edition of the Haarlem Vinyl Festival will take place next week. The world's first multi-day festival entirely dedicated to vinyl culture, with concerts, a record fair, conference programme and much more.

I will be DJing (vinyl only ofcourse!) at the festival's opening party at PHIL Haarlem on 29/09. Invite only, send me a message if you want to come and I'll see what I can do!
