Oprrator, spins fire and fire beats

Chelsea Lugosi (aka “Oprrator” while Doing) found a home in the underground music scene at age 14 and fell in love with the music, the people, and the opportunities for creative expression and expansion, thus she decided to create a career out of it. As a fire performer and dancer, she spent the past 8 years(and running) leading multiple pyrotechnic/fire performance troupes all around the west coast and performing independently (and even appeared on ‘America’s Got Talent’) from warehouses in the underground to festival circuits and just about everywhere in between. She still plays with fire to this day as an instructor offering private one-on-one fire lessons, as well as participating in flow jams. She has been extremely serious about fire safety since the day she began her craft and has made sure underground venues are up to fire codes, is insured as a fire perfomer, and will be a safety whenever given a chance.
Chelsea Lugosi only just recently began DJing under the pseudonym Oprrator in mid 2018, but has already begun taking the underground by storm. Coming from a very musically inclined and artistically supportive family and experiencing life on the road touring with her father (a professional jazz bassist still doing international tours to this day) it comes to no surprise that music flows through her veins and seems to be the language she is best at speaking. She began as a drum and bass DJ but has relaized that there is just too much good music in every genre these days, its almost impossible to have a favorite these days! When she is DJing, her goal is to take the audience on a journey that makes them ideally feeling like they are lost and home at the same time, nostalgic, renewed, sexy, badass, maybe even like they took some mild hallucinogens, and definitely sweaty from dancing so hard. The Oprrator is ready to connect you now, and you don’t have to dial 0.
