We're happy to announce that this month, Esther Meijers is with us for 7 years, Niek is rejoining the team, Nikita is part of LEF Marketing & Events for one year and we have a brand new teammember: Shakyra! Cheers Esther and Nikita, welcome (back) Niek and Shakyra 🥂

Esther: “We have been through a lot in these years together. I love traveling and the diversity, which is why I have been here for 7 years!”

Nikita: “In the first few months, I learned a lot and immediately worked along. My work is very diverse and that's what I like about it. Every event is different, and every client is different. Finding locations, maintaining contact with the client, registering visitors, getting things ready and making sure everything keeps running smoothly, that's what I do. And I really enjoy it.”

Niek: “Now that I have more time again, I am going to work full force in my former team with Esther and Eveline. In the coming period we are going to Germany, France, England and Saudi Arabia, as well as Norway and Finland. I look forward to seeing all the old and new faces of LEF Marketing & Events.”

Shakyra is new at LEF Marketing & Events this month and is now scouting a venue with her team.

In the heat of summer, the European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI) took place in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. This is the international programming competition for girls. 👩

Huawei announced earlier this year that it would sponsor this event as part of it efforts to encourage more girls to enter the technology sector, enhance digital inclusion in communities, and promote gender equality in technology fields. 👩‍💻👩‍🔧

Vicky Zhang, Vice President of Huawei's Corporate Communications Dept, said, "Huawei has long been committed to cultivating digital talent around the world. I'm happy to see that our joint projects with partners are going on smoothly. I hope more people can participate in these projects. Stay connected and be role models for others, we become more than the sum of our individual parts. This is how an inclusive digital future will be shaped.”

To date, Huawei's talent training and education projects have been implemented in more than 150 countries and have benefited more than 2.83 million people. 🌎

A Day of Innovation and Inspiration at the World Trade Center Dubai. 🇦🇪 📍

AWS Summit Dubai 2024, an event that was focussed on the future of cloud technology, with a total of more than 50 sessions! 🗣️

The summit was an action-packed day, filled with insightful sessions, hands-on workshops, and inspiring keynotes, all centered around the latest advancements in cloud computing. 👩‍💻 ⚡👨‍💻

We are proud to have brought this large-scale and diverse event with many different stands together to a great success. Thanks to the great team and all the partners involved. 🤝

Annemiek has been with LEF Marketing & Events for 2 years. Jeroen has been with us for 7 years and Lien has been with us for 8 years. Congratulations! 🎉

Annemiek: “I have had a lot of fun over the past two years, it is challenging and most importantly very nice that you really build a bond with customers and suppliers. They are not just suppliers or customers. It's nice that companies are so open and warm. I hadn't thought that at first.”

Jeroen: “What I like most about my job is the variety, the fact that you have to be able to switch quickly, and that you get to visit special places. It's a tough business, but if you do it well, you get asked back everywhere.”

Lien: “From small events like a Juniper Partner Advisory Council with 40 partners, to an AWS Summit event in Paris with more than 10,000 visitors - each event is its own highlight. I am happy to work in a very close-knit team where there is a lot of collaboration, and even though the pressure remains high, we always get it done as a team.”

An unforgettable week in Amsterdam at WatchGuard Apogee 2024. 🥂

This event included networking, educational sessions, workshops and an awards dinner celebrating the partner community. 🤝

The awards dinner started with the red carpet, followed by eye-catching performances and during the closing of the evening prizes were distributed to various partners. 🏆

It was a very diverse event to organize but that is the reason why it was so challenging and special to make it successful with our LEF team. 💪

Bonjour France! 🇫🇷 Ça va? See our recap of this year's events we organised in Paris! ✨✅

In March, Palo Alto Networks and HashiCorp held an enthusiastic party in at the famous club Bridge Pont Alexandre-III in Paris to celebrate their success at Kubecon. Thank you Palo Alto Networks, HashiCorp, and everybody involved in this project. This event is one to remember. . 👏

In April, our LEF Marketing & Events team organised the AWS Summit in Paris, a three-floor event with more than 10.000 attendees, including lots of activities, areas, breakout sessions and of course inspiring talks from leaders in the industry. We are so grateful the event was so positively experienced as this was a big event to realise. 🙌

In June, the launch event of HONOR took place in the beautiful setting of the Hippodrome Paris Longchamp, along demonstrations, a photoset, fireshows and live DJ party. 🎶

We look back to this special event: Celonis City Collaborative Amsterdam 2024, at the mesmerising atmosphere of (one of) the oldest zoo's in the world: Artis Amsterdam. 🦁 📍

Companies such as KLM, DEME Group, Mazars, Rabobank, Sibelco Group and many more were present at this event. Many great speakers shared their insights and information about AI, Process Mining Technology and more.

We are proud of everyone involved and look forward to more events like Celonis City Collab that stand out! 👏

This is Thomas, our Jr. Digital Manager, specialized in everything that has to do with registration. 📍 His favourite trips were to New York 🇺🇸 and Seoul 🇰🇷, exploring new cultures across the globe.

Thomas: "After meeting LEF’s team I was still working another job. The itch to join LEF remained. That is now 2,5 years ago. It’s great to travel the world and organise events like we do. I love those big events where 10,000 people come. 👏

Big events are really topsport.🏆 Months of preparing with a lot of meetings and at 7:00 in the morning, when the doors open you hope that everything goes as planned. Watching visitors having a great day is just the best. It doesn’t even feel like working, thanks to the team of LEF".

We couldn't be more proud to partner up with Genesys and organise this day at The Brewery on Chiswell Street in London. 🇬🇧

Speakers as Nicolas Hamilton spoke about how Empathy, A.I. and Automation can create outstanding experiences for customers and employees. This year's event created around the theme "Your Future Accelerated", included an expo of Genesys' partners. There was plenty to talk about and be transformed into for a better Customer Experience.

We are beyond thrilled to share the experiences of the attendees of Genesys UKI Xperience 2024. Thank you Linda Hilberdink, Emily Bloomfield and the rest of the team for creating a day to remember. 👏

More than 800 registrations and a full house in The Brewery in London! 🇬🇧 Last month we organised one of the biggest events in Londen ‘The Genesys Xperience UKI 2024'. 🙌

This was an event where partners, customers, prospects and consultants came together for a day filled with inspiring guest speakers like Nicolas Hamilton, a beautiful Ferrari, the best food and a special A.I. photobooth. 🏎️ 👏 📸

We are proud and happy with how the event unfolded and we will gladly continue the cooperation on new great events like this in the future. 🤝

A story in pictures - this is what the Honor launch event last week looked like. 📷 We welcomed over 600 people to the prestigeous Hippodrome Paris LongChamps. With limited overnight build-up time, we prepared demo shop areas, an outdoor keynote and a fantastic party garden. 🤩 Our client's hashtag captures this event perfectly!

Channah, Joanne and Mijke expertly managed the entire organization of the annual Cloudflare event in Amsterdam. In preparation, we selected the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ as the venue, transforming it with branding to fully reflect Cloudflare's style.

On the day of the event, we welcomed all 120 attendees at registration, coordinated the catering, and handled the AV requirements. After the event, we ensured that each attendee left with a delightful gift. We look back on this successful event with pride, having been able to relieve Cloudflare of all logistical concerns. Here's to next year! 🤝

In November, the annual Dell Technologies Forum event is on the agenda. 📅 This is the biggest event of the year for this key player in the global technology market. Tech enthusiasts and business leaders come together here to drive innovation and growth. Our project managers Lien and Erika are already busy with the preparations and went on a site visit. The visit was focused on meeting all the involved parties. 🤝 The amazing venue? We'll keep that a surprise for now!

During our recent Partner Days in Scandinavia, we brought together experts and partners for a day filled with knowledge sharing and networking within the technology industry. The day started with inspiring sessions and was enhanced with local delicacies. In Stockholm, the lunch menu even featured the best sandwiches in the city!

For all our clients, we personally go to the venue to manage all aspects of the preparation and coordination on-site for both large and small events. No event without LEF Marketing & Events on-site! 💪 We are already busy preparing for the next Partner Day, which will take place in Amsterdam.

We proudly reflect on the German VMware User Group (VMUG) UserCon in Frankfurt, a premier event for IT professionals managing VMware software. We took care of the total event management, including sponsor recruitment, handling invitations, and the event promotion. With over 450 attendees, engaging technological sessions, and a standout keynote by Broadcom’s CEO Hock Tan, the event was a hit!

Celebrating a decade-long partnership with VMUG, we are honored by the continued trust and perfect alignment on all event aspects. 🤝 Here's to many more!

We bring unique value to organizing IT events: providing complete care for the client before, during, and after the event. This was also the case for SentinelOne, for which we hosted another successful Customer Innovation Council. We selected a unique venue: the stunning Oesterdam Resort, by the water. ⛵️ Next to that, we also took care of the complete branding at the location, catering, and accommodation for the guests. We closely monitored the cancellation policy and room occupancy to minimize costs. Together with the client, we look back on a successful and interactive event! A valuable experience for the customer community.

Our project coordinator Sanne headed to Valletta, Malta and Athens, Greece to run executive/C-level roundtables. At these events, local account managers invite their clients to partake in an evening filled with inspiration. 💡 Each event features a series of decision-making sessions, followed by an opportunity to connect over a delightful networking dinner. We ensure a unique experience in each city, covering everything from attendee registration and venue selection to catering and personalized branding.

By bringing together our international expertise and a wide-reaching supplier network with local contacts, we guarantee that we deliver a high-level event in every city.

This global event is part of a larger roadshow and takes place in cities all over the world. In addition to Valletta and Athens, upcoming stops include Budapest, Almaty, Limassol, Warsaw, Prague and Bucharest. 📍

Almost our entire team had the pleasure of heading to Paris to organize our client's biggest event of the year. 🇫🇷 What made this event special? Well, it’s the biggest event of the brand and free to attend. Their mission is to unite the cloud computing community, share new technological features and facilitate networking opportunities.

Our role was to produce all the event services and oversee registration, branding, venue services, catering, logistics and host management. We also set up an online exhibitor portal and reviewed all content from participating sponsors. Additionally, we created 3D renders for every booth in the expo: a grand total of 100 booths!

We always try to go a step further and propose new solutions to improve the event. For instance, this year we had huge floorplans in some corners of the venue so the impressive 10,000 attendees could easily locate themselves.

The event was an absolute blast, hosted at the iconic Palais des Congrès de Paris - one of the most outstanding and known venues in Paris. With three levels plus ground zero where the registration took place, it's a hotspot for innovation.

Working together with our client has been a pleasure, before and during the event. And we don’t stop here: we'll bring this experience to Milan, Dubai and Madrid as well. 🌍 Stay tuned for more updates!

For the third year in a row, we have had the pleasure of organizing an Executive Leader event for one of our clients in Paris. Held at the elegant Maison de la Mutualité, the event saw 400 attendees gather for a lineup that included an impressive keynote featuring customer testimonials, a three-course seated lunch, breakout sessions, and concluded with a networking drinks reception. 🥂

We are thoroughly pleased with the success of this event, during which we handled registration, the keynote presentation, catering, branding, and photography and videography services. Project manager Lien shares, "Having a deep understanding of our client and the type of participants, after three years of collaboration, has made our work together extremely rewarding. With minimal communication, we're able to grasp exactly what our client desires, significantly easing their burden."

This event serves as an intriguing preview to the larger summit happening a week later, which will see almost our entire team in attendance. We look forward to sharing reflections on that soon!

The annual Vectra in Lisbon was a success! During the event, security teams had the opportunity to discover the latest cybersecurity technology from Vectra AI and test it directly. 🔐 We took care of the organization and support during the multi-day event, from registration to accommodation. This allowed the client to fully focus on the content. Together with local partner 2 Inspire, we took care of the complete branding in the atmospheric Corinthia Lisbon. The guests went home with a lot of new inspiration and personalized goodies!

We're looking back on our first event with Red Hat, a partnership that kicked off with a Virtualization Workshop in CitySense Utrecht -. This event was designed for VM admins and infrastructure architects, who actively participated in the workshop, delving into OpenShift Virtualization to explore modernization possibilities firsthand. 🖥️

Our role was comprehensive, covering venue selection, branding, catering, AV support, and on-site registration. Jr. Project manager Annemiek and project coordinator Teun ensured every detail was carefully executed. Their efforts underscored our team's ability to multitask effectively, as we also managed branding for another nearby event.

This successful collaboration with RedHat sets a positive precedent. We're looking forward to a continued partnership, reflecting on this event with great satisfaction and anticipation for future projects. 🤝

As we speak, a part of our team is in Brussels, overseeing a symposium at the Brussels Expo. 🇧🇪 The event is bustling with more than 600 attendees, featuring various tracks and breakout sessions. To ensure a seamless experience today, we conducted a site visit a few weeks ago, allowing us to grasp the venue's potential fully. For our client, we have designed and managed the exhibition stands, including those of sponsors. Site visits in Paris and Amsterdam

We regularly conduct site visits well in advance of an event to ensure everything runs smoothly - from the setup to the event day itself, and the dismantling afterwards. Last week, our team of branding, logistics, and design specialists visited the Palais des Congrès de Paris. 🇫🇷 We're gearing up for an event there soon, expecting around 10,000 attendees. With such a large number of guests, proper signage and a clear floor plan are crucial for maintaining flow and safety. This week, Lien and Sanne were scouting locations in Amsterdam. 🇳🇱 They checked out the Beurs van Berlage Amsterdam, Het Scheepvaartmuseum, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Meervaart Theatre and RAI Amsterdam for an upcoming event for Xeneta. VMware Explore Barcelona

At VMware Explore in Barcelona, our team was represented by nine members. Throughout this four-day conference, we orchestrated multiple segments for various clients. Highlights include: 🌴 The Rubrik Inc. VMware Explore Party at Shôko Barcelona on the opening day was a tremendous success, drawing over 400 guests. Our responsibilities included liaising with the venue, catering arrangements, and managing on-site registration. 🚲 The annual ePact Benelux partners' excursion at VMware Explore featured an e-bike tour through Barcelona, taking in sights like Park Güell and the Sagrada Familia. 👥 For the Elevate Technology User Group at Ocaña Cafe, we arranged the venue, catering, giveaways, branding, and provided on-site support and registration. 🍸 At the Benelux Customer Appreciation Networking Reception, cocktails were uniquely named after sponsors, adding a creative twist. VMware partners enjoyed drinks like Arrowjito (Arrow Electronics), DELLini (Dell Technologies), ITQuiri (ITQ), PisQo souR (PQR), and Conscia Red Mule (Conscia Nederland/Red Logic). 🍷 For HCLTech, we organised a Networking Drink at a beautiful venue, selecting the location, arranging catering, and managing the branding and decor. #lefmarketing #vmwareexplore #barcelona

Our project team attended the fifteenth edition of EventSummit, at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. This is the largest platform within the Dutch event industry, created by and for professionals.
