It’s all started in the early 2000's , when a young man got hooked on some strange broken beats ticking around 175 BPM... Ever since his love got deeper and deeper for this new sound he discovered, and at the age of 17 attended his first big rave at the legendary Home Club in Budapest. With inspiration gained from the likes of Hype, Andy C, Dj Marky, Zinc (&the list goes on..), he soon realized he wanted to spin them black records too... Crate diggin played a big part in his life. Every Friday afternoon has been spent at BlackMarket Records (RIP)

Hailing from the Hungarian city of Budapest, the London based DrumandBass act Oliv:R aka Oliver Smith in having his bi weekly radio show on UKFlow in Edmonton. It was one of the first online radio stations Worldwide with live video streaming at times. (2008)

Having played in various clubs/bars in the UK , (Club Fire @Vauxhall ,Under Solo @Camden Town ,1001 Cafe @Brick Lane, just to name a few) also in Switzerland @ Zoo and of course in Budapest where he used to have his own events with his beloved D&B family!

If you’re out to see him, you most likely to hear some stomping upfront dnb, mixed up with a hint of oldskool jungle, deep or neurofunk. -"No Rules baby!" However, there is his Soulful being, when he can’t stop playing them uplifting liquid rollers. You ‘ll easily find yourself drifting into the Space of Happiness. Started crafting his own beats around 2016, ever since producing became his passion too! Whenever he got some spare time,then he is probably working in his home studio currently in Budapest.
