This one is rather special.

(I don’t usually take photos with my clients or attend their wedding)!

I used to call Abigail my Akka Abby (the Bride)used to babysit me🙈. For her to trust a kid she’s familiar with takes a lot of courage!

Congratulations Abigail + Lachy 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️
I have enjoyed working with you both and so thankful to be part of your journey! 🧡

I think with each wedding I have MOSTLY learnt how to lean on God’s strength and provision.

As flowers are seasonally grown, the availability and colours are beyond my control. What I could control are my designs, my attitude and my ability to keep trusting that God will see me through.

This is one wedding that has stretched and grown me like never before - to plan and organise with local growers (TAS) whilst living interstate (NSW).

I am thankful that my floral journey has always helped to deepen and strengthen my faith in my walk with God.

Special thanks to all the florists, local floral farms that has helped me to fulfil my creative vision and to my Dad for helping me with this one! 🧡

It has always been a dream of mine to grow some of my own flowers for my Brides.

So this wedding has been a little special because I got to do just that.

The beauty and landscape of rural NSW continues to inspire me.
( I am still the girl that brings a secateur to every road trip 🙈🤣)

Thank you Caleb and Emmeline for trusting my craft on your Big Day! I have enjoyed every moment creating for you both 🧡

Eeek… THE HEAT OF WEDDING SEASON IS HERE!
THIS IS MY HUMBLE 4TH SEASON, AND I’M JUST AS EXCITED AS I WAS when I took on my very first wedding at 12 years old. 😅🙏🥹

To commemorate my Season 04 Wedding 01, my Mama commissioned this beautiful piece of Potting Table made 💯 of recycled wood for my garden work. Isn’t she a beauty?

I’ve also started my first attempt in growing my own flowers and already half way in my Horticulture course at TAFE.

Thank you to all my beautiful Brides for your wonderful support in my flower journey! I am forever grateful. 🧡😘🙏

1 more sleep to FloraZara’s first market appearance; a collaboration with Selvage

I spent whole day foraging in the wild (thanks Ma for driving me around!🙈) and also at my Mama’s friend beautiful garden to bring to you some Mother’s Day blooms tomorrow at the local Tamworth Community Market from 8 am to 12 pm.

Did I tell you I am also now a stand-in florist for the most beautiful gift/floral shop in Tamworth Botanique New England when they get to all hands-on-deck stage? Pop in to say hi 👋

I am forever grateful for any opportunity to work with flowers and being in the nature.

What are you grateful for today? 🥰😘

Hi Everyone,
Naomi here. Sorry I have been a little quiet here for awhile.
After surviving the longest lockdown in the world in Melbourne, my family decided to move up to NSW into a more self-sufficient lifestyle end of 2021.

We are on a 40-acre farm and I’ve switched to homeschooling and life has been filled with wholesome never-ending learning homesteading fun and finally I’m in a good place to rethink the plans I have for my little floral biz.

To kickstart for the new season - I will be collaborating with the wonderful Selvage
at the upcoming Tamworth Community Market. I have already started making some “forever dried blooms” just in time for Mother’s Day.

Here’s a little sneak peak of what I’ve been working on … and did I tell you I now have a little assistant and she’s a maremma - her name is Nara; it means Flower from Heaven. 🧡✨🙏🏻

Well... as Gary Vee said, “Education (school) has failed him.”
So once in a blue moon, I skipped school to pursue my dream (sorry Dad)

Yesterday was my first styled shoot experience. It was incredible being amongst creatives and playing a role in it as their youngest Vendor.

When I first saw the brief (mood board) I knew exactly the design and the flowers I would choose. But we all know wanting and getting are 2 completely different things.

So I had some challenges.
But nothing is impossible when you wholeheartedly believed in your vision (and supportive parents!)

So here’s my attempt in creating a 70s Jive Elopement bridal bouquet 💐 and buttonhole for the Groom.

Simple foliages can immediately freshen up a space.

I created these foliage’s for our Easter Dinner table and they are still going strong. 🫒

Hope your weekend is a relaxing one🪴

Flora Zara By Naomi

Hi, my name is Naomi. I am a 13 year old Floral Designer and the face behind FloraZara. Right now I’m really enjoying this experience as I find plants intriguing and beautiful at the same time. When I’m not doing flowers, I like to be active and do sports such a soccer. I look forward to meeting more future #BraveBrides in 2019; designing your flowers and being part of your Special Day.
