Being born in the Hip-hop era in the Dominican Republic, I took my first step with music in my heart. Here, still aged just 12,I united with the neibourghood crew of the time, going by the name of ‘The Matrix’. That was when I wrote my first lines on a 90’s reggae beat, by ‘El General’ a Dominica
n legend & my idol in my teenage years. A few months later, I boarded a plane with my family , headed to Italy & with me I carried my ever-growing love for reggae music. I started playing in bars from South to Central to Northern Italy, increasing my knowledge & my circle of friends. In 2005, I launched my first album named ‘Mi Cuidad Mix’ ,dedicated to the town that reaped in me, the passion for beats & rhymes. In 2007, my second album ‘The Shooterz Machine’ followed & in 2013, ‘No Game’. Few steps forward, I founded Somadacrew with Selektah Soldier & Jah Lightin -- & with the passing of years, promoted some big, renowned artists, Some of which : Nature (JA) -- General Levy (U.K) -- Anthony Cruz (JA) -- Jah Mason (JA) -- Skarramucci (JA) -- Chezidek (JA) -- Jah Bouks (JA) -- BAY-C out of T.O.K (JA) ..Amongst many others. Somadacrew took part & won a clash, against Rubio Selectah in Taranto, Italy in 2011. This has increased in us the appreciation, towards the reggae culture & dubplate collecting. My Journey & my links, led me to play music in various countries across Europe : in the capital of Albania, Tirana, in Barcelona, Spain, in Las Palmas on the island of Gran Canaria & in Malta, where I currently reside & organize events. In Malta, I was introduced to the Gambian community & collaborated with some big names like: Fire Man, Dj Lashes (One Tribe), Mighty Timeless, Rebellion, Adi General, Ali Gee, Black Thunder ,Top Gun & many more. My aim is to never stop playing music, writing this story or uniting the crowds with reggae beats. Music has given me lasting friendships, endless love , memorable nights & the knowledge of who I really am.
