Saw this and was immediately transported back in time, to a cool breeze on the river. I remember I had to pull a beer from Marcus because he wasn't old enough to drink yet, so we smoked a doobie instead; and Drew "Gary" bringing Billy to play on the porch. Those are great memories! Didn't know they got together at Carters, I'll bet anyone 100$ they ate at Arnold's before jamming... what epic 'O face' phenoms!! Thank you both for adding to the Bywater fabric..

You deserve to hear your three options. Watch the presidential debate as it was supposed to be: Biden, Trump, Kennedy. And decide for yourself.

When I posted a couple of weeks ago, I was floored that almost 15k friends of the Bywater had given it a read. I honestly thought I was just venting into the vacuum of the internet, because I was butt-hurt about the condition of my trees. But then, I got to thinking that maybe it wasn't only the trees I was worried about.

The Bywater, and specifically its fire pit, was a place to learn, to discuss, and debate the ideas and challenges of our time. Unfortunately, the Bywater no longer physically exists, though the conversation and community itself clearly seem to.

I hadn't been on Bywater's page in a long time, and over the days that I was watching the meta insights page in astonishment, I also began going through the community's photo album, wanting to see the actual faces of the people who were likely the ones reading the post and to remember.

The amount of gratitude for all of those good memories brought me to tears and to reflection. I want to thank each and every one of you who brought light, love, and energy to this unique community space. It was and will remain one of the greatest honors of my life to be a member of it.

I love you all, James Rogers 🕊

Dear Ghost LLC, If your going to go to all that trouble, disenfranchising a dude from a decade his work, please take care of it.
Throwing some chelated iron, and a little bit of sulfur on those Nellie Stevens hollies it takes 2 minutes, the soil is becoming alkaline and they like acid. I also left 2 bags of Organic Holly-tone on the back porch before being exited.

On or around December 8th, there will begin a public auction for my property at 796 Riverside Dr. Asheville. It has been the home of Bywater since 2010 and the location of more great memories in one place than any other in my life. I would just like to thank all of the Bywater members, friends & family for a decade of great times, love and community.

When the mortgage company moved to foreclose back in early June, just a few weeks after I was finally able to reopen after two years, it became obvious that the damage was already done and that I would not be able to book any of the events that were coming in. To all of the Families and groups that were planning on having events here, thank you so much for your support, it really blew me away
