Felix Fest 2024! Undoubtably one of the coolest birthday parties I’ve performed at so far. I was not the only guest- the party had a star appearance of Bumblebee alongside plenty of weird and wonderful animals.

It was the first time working with - delicious street food. I was blown away by the BBQ.

After the fundraising success of the Travelling Masquerade in April I’m delighted to announce that plans are already underway for next year’s event. This year we raised over £300 for the Magic 4 Cancer Research Campaign- next year’s target is to double that figure.

It was a pleasure hosting and organising the evening. Thanks again to all the performers involved, and to everyone that supported the event. Here are some more highlights from the night.

West Side Story, you were brilliant.

It has been an enormous joy to be a part of such a wonderful production with so many talented people. Seven months of rehearsals have flown by, and to perform six shows in five days has been so enjoyable and unforgettable. To mark Ashton Under Lyne Operatic Society’s 125th Anniversary we could not have asked for a more fantastic cast and crew. Some thank yous below ♥️

Many thanks to Gary Lawrence for directing with such enthusiasm and professionalism, to Jeremy Sleith for your continuous support with vocals and music throughout the show, and to Caroline Jones for excellent choreography.

From the 21st-25th May I will be performing in West Side Story as the role of Tony. The show is packed with intense emotion, fantastic orchestration, and mental dance numbers- promising to be an amazing week.

Ashton Operatic Society has done West Side Story before, in 1964, and 60 years on we are going back to our roots. Not only that, but this year marks the 125th anniversary of the Society’s Founding. I was delighted to be a part of the entertainment at the Annual Ball, performing magic around tables.
