We wire ranunculus to strengthen weak stems… look how perfect she is with a little help from a friend.
Sure we may do ok on our own, but the magic comes from all the support we receive from others (and above) to be the best versions of ourselves.

I’m on day 6 of the sickies over here after testing positive for flu A Wednesday and you guys it is NO joke. Take all the anti-viral meds and vitamins you can. I’ve never slept so much in my life and I’m guessing it’s my body’s way of saying “GIRL, REST” so I’m resting. But for someone with an inner monologue like mine, it isn’t easy. Thinking of all the things I should and wish I could be doing. Luckily for me our weather has been absolutely gross and the perfect stay inside vibes. Slowly but surely catching up on emails & looking forward to a hopefully healthier and sunnier week ahead. Wishing you all cozy vibes into your weekend!

2023 was fun & pretty & restorative but it left me hungry for more.
2024 (for me) is about the “do what you want” clients 🌸
+
Pushing myself outside my comfort zone & building genuine relationships.
For so long I closed myself off out of the fear of people not “liking” me. I’ve suffered from insecurities & social anxiety for most of my life. I’ve hidden it so well that even family members are confused when I tell them that my natural tendencies are introverted.
When you do what I do people think that you MUST be an extrovert, but the truth is that my passion for what I do just outweighs the strength it takes to be “on” for my clients. I love what I do, but I find the most solace in the quiet moments that I get to dream up a design. From the moment I leave a client meeting to the time I meet them 5 weeks out; the overall job is solely inside my head. 10years in and I’m just dreaming of the day I get nothing but clients that says “just do what you want”.

Can’t wait to share more of our collaboration with this week! worked her magic as always, and with beautiful product like this there was no way we could go wrong. I’m so thankful for the friendship formed with Crystal long before I started using her flowers. Our friendship has been kismet if you will! My husband + her and her husband worked together in the oil fiend (over the phone) for years before we ever put together that they actually knew and had worked with each other. Crystal freelanced for me back in 2022 for the Speaker’s Ball after reaching out on instagram & we still had no idea 😆. We’ve only grown closer since. Bursting at the seems to share more of the variety their farm offers.

2024 Wedding Forecasts: Winter whites are here to stay until about mid March when we’ll be moving into LOTS of fun color stories for Spring. Farm flowers will be more popular than ever! Still seeing accents of sage green & looking forward to some bolder patterned linens/vessels and lots of different tabletop textures. Organic whites will make a come back in the Summer & will be sprinkled in throughout the year.
**We still have some late summer/fall and winter availability & would love to dream up more magic with you!

A week ago today I set off to Brooklyn, NY to learn from one of the first florists that ever inspired me, & her flower bestie .
If I could describe this year in one word, it would be growth. And lasst week was the perfect wrap up to 2023. So many lessons from this year I will take with me, and a big one being to never stop investing in yourself as an artist.
One thing I can promise, this is only the beginning of what we will do. SO much more beauty to come and I am SO thankful!

Guess what business owner, you CAN have it all. The best part of being self-employed is YOU get to decide when you work. Sure covid changed that for everyone, but 2022 is a new year and a year for boundaries and clarity. I am so excited to be able to give my 30 weekend clients ALL of my attention because they will get the BEST of me. Only 4 weekends left in 2022!
